I had my doubts about this tape to fix some tears on my leather gaming chair, but am pleasantly surprised with how it’s holding up. The tear was right on the front edge of the chair as it curves, right under my leg. The tape was easy to cut and attach and is holding up well. I was worried the edges would start to peel up, but it’s been on for a few weeks and the adhesive is holding strong. Also the maroon color matches very well, it really blends in and is hardly noticeable. Still plenty of the patch tape left over, so if it does need to be replaced down the road, I can definitely do that. Would recommend you give it a try.

The faux that is what the sectional is made out of is peeling off, so I used this tape to cover those spots, it sticks well and is thick. I can tell where it starts and stops , but it covered it up and at least the sectional looks half way decent and will last till I get a new couch or whatever down the road

I got this to repair the arms on a nice leather office chair. It was pretty easy to cut and apply, and it seems like it should last. I also used it to repair a chewed-up strap on a pair of flip flops. It was harder to apply to small objects because it is pretty thick, but they still look better than they did. The care with which you cut and apply it is going to determine how good the fished product looks. Looks terrific on flat surfaces.

Initially I loved this product. The quality seemed great, even a bit thick for my needed application. However, within days of application on at least 3 pieces of furniture, the tape is lifting. So disappointed.

I bought 2 colors & kept the closest match. I forget which one was the winner but they were both very close (I could have used either). Its very thick, definitely durable, & will last from my dog's nails better than the original thin leather. Might buy another pack & do the front part if it gets tore up anymore. 1 box was enough to do the big center cushion. I did tuck down the sides a few inches. Also when installing I pulled up several times & adjusted & it still sticks wonderfully. It really is VERY STRONG adhesive.

I spent huge bux on a heavy duty office chair for men over 500lbs a few years ago. It was in really good shape when I had to put it the chair in storage. Another year went by and, when I got it out of storage, the vinyl covering had completely broken down. It not only looked hideous, it was really uncomfortable. The material was crumbling into some sort of grit that got all over my clothes and made a mess in the floor. I saw this stuff and decided I would give it a try. In the end, I really like it. The chair is useful and very comfy again. In fact, sitting in it feels like heaven.
That being said, this repair material is darn gnarly to work with. It's going to wrinkle and there's not a darn thing you can do about it. The backing paper is going to refuse to separate without a real struggle, the roll is going to curl over and stick to itself and it's going to be a real PITA to get it unstuck. If you think you want to give it a go, get a friend to help. Two hands just don't seem to be enough. And, in the end, don't expect your project to be a show piece. But, at least it will look and feel much better than it did.
