Before I saw the instructions imprinted on the black spout, I was trying to hold the red button in with one hand; hold the can with the other hand and pour the gas at the same time. I was only getting a drizzle of gas.

Once I figured out that you have to press the red button in AND DOWN (past the tab to lock it in a position that holds the spout open; and that I did not have to hold the red button in), releasing a good flow of gas was GREAT!

Before I figured out how to lock the red button in, I was so frustrated that I bought another gas can, which I no longer need.

The only thing I would suggest is that the instructions on the black spout be more visible. If I had noticed this the first time I tried to use the gas can, I would not have felt it was necessary to buy another gas can. For this reason, I could only rate it a four.

I'm so happy with this new gas can now and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a gas can that has a great flow and is easy to use!

The spout is easier to pour from than other gas cans I’ve used. The one hand operation of the spout made it easier to hold the gas can while filling the tank of my lawn tractor. Its angle allowed the gas to flow from the can more smoothly than others. The upper clear portion of the spout can be removed to have a larger opening. The spout was easy to remove from the can for filling from the gas pump. It seals well and I haven’t had any issues with leaks. I purchased the 2 gallon size so it wouldn’t be too heavy for me to carry and pour from. I will be ordering an additional one so I can make fewer trips to the gas station.

Great gas can! The handle has a valve to release the gas with the same hand you hold the nozzle with. Great design. Perfect for the smaller 1 and 2 gallon version gas cans. I own 2 of the 1 gallon and 1 of the 2 gallon cans. They are absolutely recommended!

The size is perfect, because larger canisters will just be too heavy. The angle of the long spout makes easy pouring into a car, or a generator tank. It's easy (for a man or a strong woman) to press to open the spout. I also got it for a very good price.

the quality is not too bad but the button is hard to press, its tiring to keep it down when I pour gas into my gas tank.

The product is really nice to controllably dispense fuel but closing the spout to the container is hard - requires a lot of effort. Not sure why. Perhaps it will ease in time but unless you tighten it really hard (as I said, hard to do, and I am a big guy), it leaks.
