Self-effacing, grounded and didn't feel condescending. Some laugh-out-loud parts mixed with genuine heartfelt wisdom. It's written in the way Bretman speaks with a few grammatical errors but I didn't mind. Surprisingly practical advice. Overall, a great read.

This book was truly amazing in many ways. Setting aside that Bretman is an influencer, this book allowed the reader into who he is as a person. You walked alongside him through his childhood home in the Philippines, laughed and cried as he shared his early life experiences. Everyone shares a unique story, and Bretman does not fall short of that. Through inspirational wording, he takes you in a journey from a young boy with a dream and his own individuality, to a successful online personality admired around the world. He is much more than the curated social media world we live in, he is bold, he is fierce, he is proud of who he forged himself to be in this world, and shares tips along the way so you can be motivated and inspired too. Great book, and great human being. Much love and respect. YOU'RE THAT BITCH!

First and foremost, I’ve been watching Bretman since he was in HS and will ALWAYS root for him and hope he accomplishes everything his heart desires. Second, we see a person but we don’t often get to hear, first hand, what molded them into this person that we enjoy so much. Bretman was vulnerable, raw, honest, and funny about his upbringing. Trauma and all. I resonated and many of you will too. He’s a work in progress. Healing is a journey. Not always pretty. I wish him well on his continued journey. Thanks for letting us in Bretman!

Been a fan of Bretman for YEARS. He's one of the few influences I've followed on IG for the longest time.

Bretman did not disappoint with his book. He was very honest about his life story in ways I never thought he'd talk about. His stories are such an honest look at family life including the bad things that come even in a good family. I even cried a bit because of this book because of something I related to in his key takeaways.

Other stories highlight what it's like to grow up queer, to be an immigrant, to come from a big family, to come from a family that dealt with divorce/separation, spirituality, remembering your roots, and celebrating the people who helped shape him into who he is, grief, and so many other stories I can't think of right now.

Great Book, Empowering and very Inspiring! Anyone who Loves to read and enjoys books should read this. Reading is an old past time but this book I highly recommended for anyone interested in finding themselves and embracing their journey through life regardless how different and difficult it is. But most importantly this book has Amazingly given me the confidence and the courage to Love and embrace ME!
