I hate getting drenched in sunscreen to mow the yard midday (ProTip: don't mow wet grass and your mower will last much longer). This is a great way to protect my arms, back, and neck from the sun easily, as well as get some protection from bugs and poisonous plants I might encounter when trimming and handling brush. High visibility color is also a nice touch.

Even while doing yard work in the 80F-90F this didn't make me feel overheated.

These were the perfect size. I was glad to see Carhartt made sun shirts. Works great. I love the added hood which helps block the sun on my neck.

Love the shirt. Wish it had a chest pocket for sunglasses, etc. and a small piece of Velcro to keep the hood in place when you are not wearing it. When hot out and bend over working, the hood slides around to the front of my neck making me very hot.

I have purchased many upf hoodies while living out here in Arizona. Also while being a pool guy you gotta do what's necessary. This helps keep me cooler but also protects my skin and tattoos from the sun without the need of sunscreen. This version is better because the hood protects your neck as well from the sun as well. I would definitely recommend this for anyone whos sensitive to the sun or works outside.
