I purchased this for an event that was held outside on a hot day. It was perfect. The weight of the fabric is heavy enough to not be transparent but light enough to not be hot. It held up to a 4 hour car drive and shows no wrinkles. It's a knit. The elastic was heavy enough to keep the top up without constant readjustment on my part but it wasn't so tight as to be uncomfortable. It was just the right amount of snugness. For reference, I am 5'6" 127 #, 38 inch bust. I have both medium and a small size. The small size fits better. One thing to consider though is that I am very long waisted, probably 2 1/2" longer from shoulder to waist than the average woman and I found the rows of stitching just a bit longer than I really need in the back but a bit too short in the front with the rows of stitching hitting me more mid-midriff. Its the result of parallel rows of elastic in this style dress and nothing against the manufacturer. It will not will not be a problem on a woman with a smaller bust but should be considered prior to purchasing for someone who is short waisted or has a larger bust. The pattern of the fabric hides this difference in where the elastic rows end in the front vs the back on me and so it looks fine. I like it.

Overall nice dress. The fabric could be a little thicker or sturdier. The shimmer shown on the picture is not as shimmer on the actual fabric. A bra liner would be nice to add to the top.
This is a good casual dress. It fits nicely. It is almost to the knees for a very short person. The cut is represented well in the picture. The top and elasticity are good but could be thicker.

The dress is so trendy, well made, true to color pattern, fit is true to size, it was a great value buy. I have not been able to wear it yet but I was able to find cute jewelry to match the pattern and I'm looking forward to how nice it fits and the cut is very flattering. The fabric is of a nice quality and I cant wait to wear it.

Ordered this for beach vacation. At first glance I was impressed. So soft. Cute. Basic. Just what I wanted. I packed without washing or wearing out. Second day wearing the elastic came undone & was awkwardly hanging out. I also realized it runs big. It could easily stretch to someone 2x my size. Now officially pajamas/stay inside. Starts to become more see through after washes. Bummed.

I love this dress. This dress is so comfortable and I wore a little black shrug and cute heals and wore it to a wedding. I have put it over a bathing suit. The dress is so versatile and flattering no matter how you wear it. I bought s seond one in another color.
