I bought for my grandson who is 2. Wanted him to see a more realistic looking animal over cartoonish. These are well crafted and not too big for little hands.

I’m admittedly a snob for Schleich figures because the details and textures are just unrivaled. So when I saw this set of 6 figures on sale for $8.99, I bought it immediately. Very happy with my purchase. Only note is that the packaging is not particularly good for gifting.

I love this brand of toy. The quality is without compare in my opinion. The plastic the animals are made of is nice and heavy which makes it last so much longer than your typical cheap toys. I loved playing with these when I was a kid, and love using these for dioramas now.

I discovered these a few years ago and have purchased way over $1000.00 worth for our great-grandchildren. I've bought them according to the children's experiences--Rodeo cowboys and cowgirls, ocean critters, wildlife, farm animals, zoo animals and just started on the fanciful unicorns and mermaids this week. They are on display for play and if they really like something they get to take it home and we buy more. I hope they last for generations as our contribution to early childhood learning.

This popped up on my homepage on 50+% off spring sale. We love schleich farm animals so I thought why not?. They are beautifully painted and very fun and cute. The plastic does feel different than the other Schleich animals I have bought the last few years, it's slightly less stiff. I'm not sure what that is about hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
