    Purchased for a 7440 Dell Inspiron 2 in one laptop .Works great-same as the original. Purchased three of them .The wall chord is round on two of them and flat on one of them . The original that came from Dell with my laptop was a flat wall cord. no biggie -great price to have extra chargers.

    Used this "Dell" USB-C Power Adapter to power a new Dell Latitude 3540 Laptop as I needed a standalone power adapter for setting up new equipment at my office. The adapter works perfectly and does not cause the laptop to display any messages about not being a valid power adapter. One thing I will say is that this non-genuine power adapter definitely got hot while charging and powering this laptop. That is concerning as the genuine Dell power adapters get warm, but not hot. I will keep using this adapter and see how it works in the coming weeks. I'll update my review if anything negative occurs.
