My laptop suddenly stopped detecting and connecting to WiFi. All our other devices were still connected to WiFi, so this narrowed it down to an issue with my laptop. After visiting tech services from the store where I purchased the laptop, it was discovered that the network adapter must have "broken." The store suggested running a diagnostic for $180 and any additional services or parts to repair the laptop would be extra. When I called the store's tech support line and described the problem, again, the tech said it sounded like a network adapter issue. However, this time the tech suggested I purchase a USB WiFi network adapter. I did and it is working like a charm! I pulled it out of the box and plugged it into the laptop USB port, and voila, connected to WiFi. Simple. Easy. Connected.

No complaints, no issues. A simple plug and play device. Signal strength is serviceable for it's price. Durability wise its a bit on the flimsy side but it won't snap on you if you aren't trying to break it. Compatability wise it works on Linux, Mac, and Windows so it's a jack of all trades!

Overall, usefulness and price make this a reliable and worthwhile product in the case your PC lacks a wifi adapter.

Did The Job (After Some Trial and Error)

The adaptor arrived on the date expected. Nicely packaged - no damage. Bought the adaptor to add an old H-P Vista PC to my Windows 10 home network. The adaptor came with a mini driver disk and a one-page "quick connect" illustrated instruction sheet that wasn't totally helpful. I initially could not get the Vista PC to find my existing Wi-Fi network. Through trial and error, I realized that the drivers had to be downloaded from the disk and activated FIRST before plugging in the adaptor. Once I followed this sequence and entered the network name and password as instructed, everything worked perfectly. Am currently up and running with no problems whatsoever - would definitely buy this item again if needed (even though instructions could be improved).

Fast Speed, Easy To Install, Works Great!

This wireless adapter has been a godsend since I plugged it in. I had been using ethernet cables that transmitted the signal from a plug by the router downstairs up to my office upstairs via the household electrical lines. For the most part, it worked. However, lately, I have been suffering from lost connections to it not working. I tried resetting the router and the ethernet plugs with little to no success. I was familiar with USB wireless adapters and decided to give it a go-round. Once I plugged in, I entered my wifi network key and started it up! The difference was amazing. The wireless speed over my network was as different as night and day. I can't believe I have suffered this long. The box contains the adapter, easy-to-follow instructions, and a mini CD for installation software. Windows 10 is my OS, so it found the drivers to operate it easily and did not need the disc. I can't stress enough how well this device worked!

The first one didn’t work. I used online chat on their webpage and SANA from tech support called me very soon. He walked me through the setting and found out it still didn’t work. He ordered a new one free of charge for me and it arrived very next day. The second one worked right away. Plug-and-play. Thank you very much for your help, SANA. The drivers provided by the support website made my desktop extremely unstable, and it would bluescreen the computer EVERY SINGLE TIME it came loose or unplugged (which was quite often). would not recommend.

Since my husband and I changed from one ISP to another, our internet service has boggled my mind with poor connectivity issues from my computer which we thought was where it was sitting, and maybe so but this little device solved all of my problems and the minute I plugged it in, it automatically connected and may I just say my computer is flying!!
