Small but versatile

Overall, this was surprisingly a decent product. Once set up via the phone app, it works very easy. It has many options for printing different designs. It is important to recognize the limitations. It does not make any length - the labels are all the same size and be aware of the size. These are not banner labels. Pay attention to size in description. Initial set up is a bit tricky as the instructions are not the best so takes a few attempts to get the ribbon placed when using the first time. But after that, there should be no issue. When on sale, it is a good deal. The print quality is very good and the app is fairly simple and user friendly. I had this up and running within 15 minutes from first opening.

Great piece of labeling kit, compact & convenient, super easy

I got this to replace a pretty expensive labeler I've had for 10+ years, and this little gem blows it away! I charged it up, DL'd the software to my iPhone, sync'd to it via the Labelnizer app, and was off and running.

There are plenty of templates and graphics, and I was able to create some needed labels in a few seconds. (As an aside, the graphics may need to load into the app by scrolling down. There're many screens of templates and images.) The resolution is crisp, printing solid and black. It's nice that it's thermal, so no dealing with ink carts.

I included photos of the package as I thought that it's a solid, Apple-like design. In a previous life I did a lot of packaging design, so I commend them for paying attention to it. The quality of the packaging is a prelude to the device itself, which seems intelligently engineered using solid materials. It feels well-made, not flimsy or cheap, but still light and a great portable size.

I also discovered that they offer clear labels, which I intend to order and swap out the included white roll for those. It seems like it'll be easy enough to swap white and clear rolls as needed.

All-in-all, I'm impressed with everything the printer can do, both software and hardware. Gets the job done for sure. Highly recommend!

I am rating the POLONO P31S Label Maker. I purchased this little printer a few days ago and am happy to report that I find this to be a very well made and well-functioning little thermal label printer.
It comes with all you need to get up and running. It comes with the Printer, USB charging cable, and instruction booklet.

The P31S Label Maker is a small, portable and light weight rechargeable battery-operated device. Easily transportable. It can even be put in your pocket to take with you wherever you go. This printer is a thermal printer so there is no need to by inks or toners. The resulting printed label is exceptionally crisp clear. Very easy to read. I found additional P31S blank labels to purchase on Amazon in white or three colors. You can use P31S label maker machine with tape to label and store your food cans, bottles, documents, jewelry, etc. I have used it to create labels for my canning jars and parts bins. Use your imagination.

Setup is a breeze. I read the setup instructions first and was able to quickly load the Labelnize app to my Android phone. (Instructions say it also works with IOS devices.) I easily paired the P31S with my Cell phone using Bluetooth. I installed the blank label roll, and I was printing my first Label within the first couple of minutes after opening the box. The Labelnize app is used to create your label to print. It is an intuitive interface that allows you to create many different styles of labels using different fonts and sizes.

I recommend this P31S Label printer for its ease of use and fast clear printing of text as well as images. The printed labels are smudge free and fade resistant. Great little printer for such a small price.
