About this item

Instant New York Times Bestseller!

“Patterson’s account is compelling” (Daily Mail). The only major author to have nine holes-in-one gets inside the mystery of Tiger Woods in a biography that reads like an unputdownable thriller.

On April 13, 1986, ten-year-old Tiger Woods watches his idol, Jack Nicklaus, win his record sixth Masters.

Just over a decade later, chants of “Ti-ger, Ti-ger!” ring out as the twenty- one-year-old wins his first Green Jacket.

He blazes an incredible path, winning fourteen major titles (second only to Nicklaus himself) by the time he’s thirty- three, smashing records and raising standards.

Then come multiple public scandals and potentially career-ending injuries.

The once-assured champion becomes an all-American underdog. “YouTube golfer” is how his two children know their father—winless since 2013—until he wins the 2019 Masters, his fifteenth major, before their eyes.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Tiger, Tiger is the first full-scale Woods biography of the decade. In James Patterson’s hands, this story is a hole-in-one thriller.

A solid overview of Tiger Woods without the drama that has somewhat clouded his career. It’s worth the read, and it’s a different style for James Patterson, in my opinion.

I grew up, like many of us with Tiger in the news. I am not a golfer and was never exposed to golf.
However, I read and am interested in people. Not just celebrity. I found James Patterson's book
refreshing, readable and seemingly without judgement but with great respect. Not only for Tiger but
for his family, the sport of golf (including other golfers and fans of the sport).

It was a pleasure to get to know the "real" Tiger and not just the celebrity and the headlines.
After reading this, I am in awe of Tiger and his family for their struggles ,failures and, successes. He
is to be respected for his commitment to excellence, generosity and perseverance personally and professionally.
A must read!!

Patterson has given we golfers the whole insight of Tigers life. It includes the ups and dozens of his life. I have followed Tiger from his earliest days to today. There were so many things that I was not aware of, but they are presented in this book. I could hardly put it done and am so happy I got to enjoy it. Thanks JAMES PATTERSON!

The first quarter and last quarter were so interesting. The parts in the middle was going from one golf tournament to another and got tiresome. However, if you are a golfer, you’ll it all. Well written and researched. True to Patterson, it grabs you from page one.

A great recounting of Tiger’s amazing life and career. Well written and one of those books that is hard to put down. Definitely not your typical James Patterson book. Every golfer needs to read this.
