The magnet is super strong and will definitely hold your phone through all road conditions. It's ratcheting system is firm enough to keep the phone in whatever position you choose to turn it. I liked this mount's functionality so much that I bought 2 more for my children's cars. If you're OK with adhering to a surface and want a good quality, very affordable, car phone mount, then look no further.
