This is a fun toy with decent features as a camera. It has 8x zoom, maximum 20MP resolution (per setting), 1080P, 32 GB SD card already installed and five games. The picture and video function works fine. But the music player has no pre-recorded files. You could connect the charging cable to the camera, and connect the USB-A side to a PC. The card is preformatted and has DCIM and MP3 folder. You will need to copy some audio files (songs or stories in MP3) to this MP3 folder. Unfortunately the sound is a bit low. I would say it is safe for the kids to bring the camera next to their ears, and you barely could hear it when it is a bit far away.
Overall: this is still a fun and educational toy. Kids will love to play with it. Since the primary function is a camera, not a audio player, I would still consider this a nice gift for kids.
