5.0 out of 5 stars Amazon consistently delivers!

The Kindle Fabric Cover for the 11th Gen (2022 release) has been a delightful and functional addition to my e-reading experience. It's a testament to the thoughtful design and quality that Amazon consistently delivers with their accessories.

First and foremost, the fit is perfect for my Kindle, providing full coverage and protection without adding unnecessary bulk. It offers a snug and secure fit, ensuring that my device is shielded from scratches, dust, and minor bumps while maintaining its slim profile.

The fabric material not only adds a touch of sophistication but also feels pleasant to the touch. It's comfortable to hold and doesn't slip out of my hand, making extended reading sessions a breeze.

The auto-wake and sleep function is incredibly convenient. Opening the cover automatically wakes my Kindle, and closing it puts the device to sleep. This feature not only helps conserve battery life but also adds to the overall ease of use.

Furthermore, the cover folds back easily, allowing me to comfortably read with one hand. Whether I'm on a crowded train or simply lounging at home, the cover's flexibility adapts to my reading position.

The precise cutouts ensure that all ports and buttons remain easily accessible, eliminating any inconvenience while using the cover. It's clear that Amazon has paid attention to every detail.

The Kindle Fabric Cover for the 11th Gen (2022 release) is a stylish and practical accessory that enhances the Kindle reading experience. Its design, functionality, and build quality make it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to protect and elevate their e-reading device. I highly recommend it for both its form and function.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Kindle case, period!
Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2024
Tried many different cases over the years and this is the BEST , period! While the price is a little high, I personally think it is worth it. The last one lasted 3+ years and still looked pretty new. The fabric material feels good on hand and not slippery like some cheap PU materials out there. The closure by the magnet both front and back makes it easy to hold and read as well. If this is something I use for a short period of time and infrequently, I would not invest in it but it is daily used and lasts for years so I highly recommend this case over other ones. A solid AA+++ product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, durable, light, and has a classic texture book lovers will appreciate.

The texture of the cloth is familiar to readers of hard cover books, and it makes retrieving the device from my pocket, even while seated, very easy. The way the device sits in the cover is well designed. It has never fallen out. It also protects the device very well. I chose the green cover for a denim Kindle, and it looks very appealing. Amazon is by far, the greatest technology company, as in Amazon is superior to Apple and Microsoft. Amazon will save you time and money. These little details of high quality at a fraction of the price of Apples and Microsoft type products which aim to censor, restrict, even steal and rig elections like Twitter and Facebook do all the time, while noble Amazon aims to enable learning, and enlighten. Always choose Amazon over other toxic tech companies, because Amazon has earned it by providing true value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Slim case, some caution

I have two of these Kindle cases — the “rose” (pink) one & the black one.

I got the pink one first & used it for about two weeks when I started noticing that the corners of this case are prone to some fabric build-up (see photos). If you see a gray-blue tint, it picked up the dye from the lining of inside of some of my bags. You can also see some darkening on the interior of the pink case from general use.

I’m very careful with my Kindle & its cases & clean or dust them weekly, but with this pink shade I have to be extra diligent to keep it clean. I always have clean hands with my Kindle, but natural skin oils & dust are factors, so it is what it is.

About a month ago I got the black case, which is far more forgiving & “safe” against fabric.

Beyond that, I really like these cases. The auto-wake & sleep functions work well & the charging port is easily accessible.

However: one time I fell asleep with my Kindle on me & it fell, & the case popped off. Luckily, the Kindle landed face up & the case had no damage, but I’m mindful now that it’s indeed a “slim” case, so I’m far more gentle with it.

(ETA: two days after I posted this review I dropped the Kindle again & the case fell off again. My other generic TPU cases haven’t fallen off, so that’s something I’ve noted.)

Do I think it’s worth $30? Ehhh. It’s all branding, but the fabric is soft & it’s really nice to hold. It feels luxurious & premium. & I do think it’ll last.

Tip: I got the black case for $15 on a Warehouse deal, so be mindful of those if you’re interested in one of these.

The pink is cute & colorful, but if you’re worried about staining I’d choose a darker color (black, denim, emerald) so it’s out of sight, out of mind.

Happy reading.

ETA: I got the emerald case (on a Warehouse deal) for use in March — it’s called “seasoning!” — & it’s by far my favorite color out of the four versions. It’s a lush British racing green. It’s the most striking shade, & looks the most “premium,” surpassing the black-grayish case. If you’re on the fence on what color to get, go where the grass is verdant. (Pictures added to review.)

ETA: To complete my collection, I got the denim case (on a Warehouse deal, obviously) earlier this month. It’s a cool shade of somewhere between denim blue & navy blue. It’s dark enough that any eventual discoloration won’t bother you, but light enough that you can spot it in the black hole of a backpack or tote bag.

So, as I, your good & faithful servant, complete my journey to try all the official cases, I would rank as follows:

4) rose/pink (gets dirty super easily & color is already fading on mine), 3) black (standard shade, always appropriate, matches black Kindle perfectly), 2) denim (hip androgynous shade of blue that’s, like, casual & not boring but still means business) 4) emerald/green — perfect. :’)

Adiós amigos, y vaya con los libros.
