This speaker is tough, robust and loud enough to hear in the cab of my old truck. I had the UE Megaboom I before this one and got many years of service out of it. When it quit working, naturally I replaced it with its more modern version. I use it at home, work, traveling, gardening and camping. With this new version, I like the carry loop as it gives better option to carry or hang it. I like the pause/play button and the charging port is in a more convenient location than the older models. I have a one way 40 minute commute everyday to work and then 40 minutes home. This speaker makes the commute much more enjoyable with music and audiobooks. Connects up easily and is easy to operate. It also fits in most car cup holders keeping it easily in reach.
