    Another axle received with the end cap popped off. Minimal grease came out, and a few whacks with a mallet took care of the problem. This seems like a common issue with this product, but it’s not that big of an inconvenience( especially considering the price of a brand new one) no input on how it will last, I just put it in today ( 2008 Tahoe, fit perfect)

    I have the same issues as many on this list. At first I ordered two axles (one seemed a little short) both were sloppy at the joint and both lost their caps in shipping so grease was everywhere. I then ordered another 2 hoping to at least get two usable units ... and again the caps were off with grease everywhere.

    Only 1 of the 4 units had joints better than the ones I'm replacing. I was going with OEM reman hoping to get a better fit but I have to believe the axles are just worn out .... all cardone did was resurface them. While I won't get a new OEM axle b/c the cost is too high, I do think a new aftermarket is the best way to go.

    BTW Cardone has done a terrible job of boxing these. You are not supposed to mix different types of grease so I couldn't even add more when putting the caps back on. If Cardone would tape the backs on ... and add some corrugated board supports this axles might survive the shipping better. Maybe this is how the axles are getting so loose at the joint. I don't know....

    Had to return all 4 ... which was a headache with Amazon and UPS ....
