    The price was right, I almost deducted a star because it didn't come with the OEM heat-shield. My mechanic said it isn't needed, but the original starter lasted 17 years, and it had a heat-shield, and would have lasted longer had I not cranked the engine well past the duty cycle. I'll have to check in in 17 years to let you know if my mechanic is right.

    This is a solid well belt starter, if it wasn't stated reman you wouldn't know it, And at this price it's a bargain. It's been installed for a couple of weeks now with no issue. Would highly recommend!

    Took out the old starter and put the Bosch starter in the same place. No shimming or adjusting. Wires setup the same as old starter. Could not have been easier. Shipping was very fast too. My Amazon account took about 15 seconds to order and finalize.
