5.0 out of 5 stars Good sound quality at a good price.

I have bought 3 pairs of these speakers to go in our motorhome which came with not so good speakers. It was a good improvement in sound. These speakers are brand new. My only complaint is that they could use more bass. I bought them because they fit in a 5 inch hole and the model that's not for shallow applications was just a bit larger. Very good value.

I have challenger with the “upgraded” alpine 6 speaker option. I did the the front dash speakers and it was a bid difference. So I heard replacing the rear deck speakers make a big difference too. I didnt want to spend a ton but also didn’t want crappy sound. I originally ordered the 6532ix version (more watts and larger tweeter) but it would not fit as they sit too high. So I ordered these and I gotta say I was totally disappointed when I saw them. The magnet on my stock speakers were bigger. The tweeter looked tiny too. Well I had all the parts and the rear deck apart so I figured I would try them. I just put one in and left one stock in just to see the difference fully prepared to put the stock back in. These little guys really bang. They are so clear and crisp. No low but the mids are not bad. Full disclosure I have a 12in sub so I don’t need the base. But it sounds like a concert hall in that ????ouch. Highly recommend.
Do this fit my 1996gmc pickup

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect replacement/upgrade speakers for Jeep JKU
Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2024
Bought these to upgrade the factory dash and sound bar speakers. Infinity speakers are always a win and these are no exception. They can handle power being pushed from an amp and sound great. They even sound good without an amp. I've used Infinity speakers for years and have no doubt these will perform for years to come.

Installation is straight forward in a 2013 Jeep JKU, they fit in the factory locations. For the sound bar, use the included adapters. The front dash, I screwed into the plastic encloser and did not use the adapters. Buy the metra connectors to make them plug and play. Add some Dynamat type material and some polyfill, you will get a great sounding system in a Jeep.

Added these to a sound rhythm arcade game called Sound Voltex to improve how the music sounds. Wasn't sure if the $$ was worth the sound quality difference but it was immediately obvious it was.

The tweaker front cone does not stick out past the woofer cone (low profile). Large sufficient magnet but not too deep. Space was considered when this speaker was engineered.

Sound deadening, hardware and speaker covers included.

For the price can't go wrong. You won't get alot of bass but u do get some. The highs and mids sound amazing crystal clear and overall they are noticeably louder much more full sound. I'm running a factory deck and no subs. Build quality is excellent and these speakers hold up to Arizona hot summers. My 03 s10 has had these speakers for 11 hot summers yes 11 years they still n great condition and sound great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sounds good, but the "IX" version is better.

This "EX" version is the shallow mount version of the "IX". Yes, it sounds fine, but if the "IX" version can fit in your car, I would recommend it because there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. The IX is rated at 60W RMS as opposed to 55W RMS for the EX. And the IX has a broader frequency range. Overall, Infinity is excellent product, and the EX probably has less capability due to having a shallower cone, but still a good product for shallow mount requirements.

Work as expected. Installed four of them in my 93 Grand Cherokee so was not expecting high quality here. They work well and sound better than stock.
