Works like a charm. I prefer refurbished equipment because you're not the person to find out the new thing doesn't work. It's been fixed and retested. Absolutely no signs that it wasn't brand new. Save a few bucks!

This heater is great. Multi fuel and thermostat controlled if needed. Only problem and it’s kinda big is that the main control board went bad and they no longer make them. I can’t even find a used one so, no longer working. However for the time I used it worth every penny. It would be a 5* if I could find replacement parts.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing But Trouble

There is a reason this heater is refurbished. I bought one and it is nothing but one problem after another with it. So much so its very dangerous to use. The unit explodes when it starts, doesn't start have the time and spews fuel out of the burner into the air and around the shop. After it has done that several times and starts all that fuel in the burner assemble ignites. The housing was hitting on the fan so I needed to make some shims for the housing which is very thin metal and springs outward when the cover is removed.
I bought a new igniter thinking that may be the problem. It wasn't, the manual states the air pressure should be 6.9 psi but the control system will shut the unit down when it set to that pressure. The fan appears to move way to much air for the burner to handle and moves the fuel out away from the igniter. The igniter appears to be too far away from the fuel mix to ignite it properly. With the way the fan moves the mix it struggles to ignite it. If I take off the cover the unit ignites fine because the fan isn't moving focused air into the burner. This just isn't a good machine. I worked in combustion for years and this machine is still difficult to deal with. For the average home owner this machine would be a scary thing to deal. It poses a very serious safety issue for someone with little knowledge of furnace burners.
