5.0 out of 5 stars Great to work with
Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2024
I ordered one S20 Ultra from this supplier and the phone was just like new however the camera wasn't working. I was allowed to use the phone until a replacement arrived at $25 cheaper. The replacement was just like new and works perfectly. I couldn't be happier.

    5.0 out of 5 stars S20 Ultra 128gb
Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2024
This is the second “Renewed” “‘Excellent” condition cell phone that I’ve bought in the last couple of weeks.. The first one was a S22+ from a different seller. It looked like it had been dropped on asphalt a couple of times. It looked terrible from 3’ away. I returned it immediately.

I ended up buying this S20 Ultra a week later instead of a newer model because it’s the last Samsung S-phone iteration that has a micro sd slot for additional memory. I’m glad I did. This phone arrived looking like a new phone with zero wear marks or flaws. ZERO. I popped a 512gb memory card into it and it’s good to go. Great performance, battery life and in excellent as-new condition.

    Excellent phone.
    Excellent value.

1.0 out of 5 stars Screen damage; camera won't focus
Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2024
I bought a renewed Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. The phone physically looked great. No chips or visible damage. Once I turned it on there was an obnoxious green dot on the screen at all times (a damaged screen pixel). I thought maybe I could live with it, but then the camera wouldn't focus. No matter what I did, I reset settings and rebooted, I changed the auto settings, I factory reset the phone and started over, nothing fixed it. I'm buying a renewed phone knowing it probably had a life before me and I did so because I'll be using it for media at work and i like the ability to add storage via an SD card, but this was unacceptable. Definitely not in "excellent" condition. I requested a replacement instead of a refund. We'll see if the second attempt is any better. **UPDATE** Got the replacement phone -- had the same issues focusing. I did the software updates and app updates but no change. Very disappointing. If this was a defect with all Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultras then this seller should stop offering it. Waste of my time and energy.

4.0 out of 5 stars BEAWARE OF CAMERA ISSUES, other than that phone is great
Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2024
I wanted to give this phone a 5 star as it deserves it. But I right off the bat, the main camera had focusing issues. I've read that it can be one of two things, a recent update that made the camera near useless and the focusing mechanism. In my case, I believe it to be the second. Shaking it back in forth a couple of times in order for the camera to focus. That being the only issue, once focused that images come in detailed and sharp. But that's the thing, you must focus it first.
Wide shots work perfectly, 5x and 100x work, although not the best quality, but those were within my expectations. The selfie camera works perfectly aswell.

Other than the camera being the main issue, the phone itself is great. With fast response time, and a good display with no burn-ins. The screen came in with a small, but almost unnoticeable scratch, but that's something I can live with. For a refurbished phone in excellent condition, this phone will be of use to me for the next couple of years. Hopefully.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gets the job done. Miss the S9+
Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2023
My S9+ after about 7 years finally decided it was time to die and betrayed me further by giving me literally no warning. This purchase was more emergency than anything.
    Initial reaction- CONS
1: The camera isn't flush with the back of the phone. unnecessarily Bulky.
2: I HATE the on screen fingerprint reader. Hate it. I could unlock my old phone instantly with my eyes closed by feel alone. With the S20 Ultra, You have to make sure your finger is in exactly the right area of the phone, in just the right position and keep it there for exactly the right length of time and it will work the first try maybe 3/4 of the time.
3- Flashlight sucks. Considerably. Might as well just use a candle.
4- the touch response is too good. If you think about swiping the wrong thing, you get a new window or changed settings. Relax.
5-the screen and back of the phone, I'm convinced were specifically designed to attract dust, debris, fingerprints, smears etc. It's disgusting. If I were a stranger and saw my phone I'd immediately think I was a slob. A case is a necessity, not only because the phone I'm pretty sure is plastic. I thought the S20's were aluminum, maybe I just don't know how cheap aluminum is? I'm not confident at all in the durability of this phone or the screen, I'm glad I bought the protection plan. (The covering over the precious camera however, is in fact resistant to debris and fingerprints).
6-why is this screen so big, but my status bar with the time and battery life so unreasonably tiny? I'm looking down my nose holding my phone out like I'm 90 years old trying to read the paper, it's absurd? Can you change that?
7-simplified and boring drop down menu/notification screen. Feels dumbed down for boring people. Less personal
    PROS
1- Arrived in pristine condition. You'd never know it was refurbished. I can't find a flaw or scratch anywhere. And after seeing reviews and pictures, I looked for them.
2-you can't complain on the price.
3-battery life is phenomenal. I had no memory of how long a full charge should actually last until I took my S20 ultra out for it's first day on the town.
4-It has an SD card slot. I was able to switch over a lot of information from my old phone. I am not in fact 90, I'm only 39, but I still don't like all this saved information in clouds or saved to Google acts etc. Doesn't feel right, I want my information on an object I can hold in my hand.
5-has good storage without the SD card too.
5-it's not an iPhone. I think we can all agree that's a win.
6- it's 5G. Turns out 5G isn't as widespread as the TV lead me to believe. I've seen it connect to 5G once and I drive all around Western New York. But that's still fun
7- other than little changes to the UI, updates and external components... It's virtually the same thing as my S9+. Which I loved. So that's a big deal for me. I don't have to spend time relearning how to use it. With the difference in generations, I was expecting bigger changes.
    Overall opinion
I liked my S9+ better. If they could have kept that design and just upgraded the insides over the years instead of needing new actual phones designs, I'd have been thrilled. If my S9+ was still functional, that would be ideal really (I'll miss you S9+ ????) Having only dealt with the S9+ galaxy, that it the standard I'm judging from. The S20 Ultra feels genuinely fragile in my hands as opposed to the S9+. It feels like a lower quality phone and I do not anticipate the screen or case holding up over the years that I plan on keeping it. So I would recommend the protection plan offered.
