    The remote is not working unless it is almost touching the fan. I put a new battery to see if it would help but didn't. I paid to have it installed and would have to pay to have it taken down to send it back and pay again to have another one put up. We love the fan so not sure what to do. I'm a senior and on fixed income. I appreciate your assistance in the matter. Thank you.

    I did not receive the ceiling fan that I had ordered. It was certified refurbished, BUT, there are NO pull chains nor a power box in the light fixture to even turn on either the fan or the light. It did come with a remote which the one that I had ordered should not have come with a remote, the color of the fan was no way near the fan that I had ordered, the light fixture was not the fixture that was supposed to come with the fan. I will NEVER buy a certified refurbished anything again! I have Hunter fans throughout my house and absolutely love the quality of the fans, BUT this fan that I received, does NOT deserve to have the Hunter name on it!!! WOW! A mess!
