    I prefer the Ridgid because i can use it one handed. I use it mostly for pruning bushes, trees, and bamboo culms. I saw with my right hand while holding the branch with my left. I also think the Ridgid saw is more powerful than most of the other brands in the same class.

    Received tool today and tried out; runs just fine.
    Love the way the blades mount, with just a twist of the receiver.
    Had a couple of very small scuffs up front on corners next to running lights, but had to look for them.
    All functions (orbital, regular, lights) work as new.
    It is nice to get a corded reciprocating saw that is half the size of the regular saws, and has more than enough
    power to get the job done, plus, it can get into spots the big guys can't.
