I've had these speakers FOREVER! At least since 2018 and it still going strong!

The sound is amazing! It's super loud and clear. I can have the volume at MAX on the phone AND max on the speaker and there is NO distortion which is freaking awesome.

It says waterproof BUUUUUUUTTTT I'd rather not take my chances LOL! I've enjoyed using it by the pool tho, and it projects loudly enough for me to hear it across the pool (standard 25yrd apartment complex pool)

The charging port finally started acting a little finicky after 3yrs but it still charges and holds a charge.

I had 2, this orange and a blue (my fav, but I forgot it at a friends place and kept forgetting). So I've considered buying a new blue one AFTER all my other speakers give out (cuz they're still good) but honestly THIS wonderboom speaker is so WONDERFUL!, why wait? I might just spoil myself and get a new blue one already.

Its hella durable. I love having it with me while driving. I can drive with my left hand on the wheel and have the speaker sitting in the cup holder near my gear shift, and without looking over, my right hand can easily find the buttons and distinguish the difference bcuz there's only three buttons and they're HUGE.
And while driving, anytime its flown off the seat onto the floor, it's survived getting thrown around.
And while I hope I nvr need it, it serves as a pretty sturdy weapon to swing around, in case of emergencies ???? the small loop it has makes it easy to attach a paracord chain or leash or clip so I can hang it from any space.

Overall: product worthwhile!! Great value for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive Sound For A Small Speaker!

I've owned this speaker for just under a year now, and can honestly say it's the best portable speaker I've ever owned. It has crisp, high-quality sound, and has run up to 8 hours on continuous use. Its compact size makes it perfect for small spaces, and it has a neat little loop you can hang around hooks and small poles if you don't have anywhere to set it down. It can definitely pump out the bass most large speakers can, but at a more convenient size, and not requiring as much to spend. A must-have for any music lover!

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful 360 sound

I absolutely love this speaker. I didn't really think I needed this in my life, but my best friend purchased a set of two for us for Christmas and I have fallen head over heels in love with it. This tiny speaker packs a powerful punch for the price. It is water resistant and I use it at least once a day in the shower. The fun apple-size makes it sit well in the palm, lap, counter, table top, and anywhere else you should choose to use it. My phone connects with it anywhere in my apartment. Syncing two of these bad boys together is challenging at first, but there are a couple of videos on youtube that do a great job of explaining. The only design flaw present is that there is no battery indicator. I know there is a way to check the battery level and determine it by tone, but I haven't figured this out yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible sound in small form factor!

I consider myself to be an audiophile and previously worked in the music industry for several years. While nobody will try to convince you that the Wonderboom can compete with active monitors or surround sound systems, the sound quality coming from these wireless speakers is truly a joy! At their current price point, I don't think there's another device that will give you better bang for your buck. I bought 2 Wonderboom devices to connect to my Echo Dot. They connect to each other for a room filling effect; keep in mind that they do not provide true stereo (the two devices are simply mirrored). The fact that they're waterproof/shock proof is simply a plus. I struggled initially deciding between the Wonderboom and the Sonos One. Given that I could buy 4 of these for the price of a single Sonos, I would buy these again without hesitation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sound from an appealing form factor!

Bought this to replace my JBL clip, which I loved but was always afraid would somehow sink while I paddle boarded. I haven’t taken this out on my board yet but the sound is a HUGE upgrade- nice bass comparable to my $$ Bose soundlink! It’s kind of heavy in the hand, with a robust feel and sleek controls. Pairs easily and consistently with my phone, although battery life seems to be a good deal less than advertised. I bought a carabiner to use to clip it into bags, etc. I love the unicorn colorway because I feel like it will be less likely to be stolen by my teenage boys this way! Of note: the price for this seems to fluctuate a lot by week and by color. I knew I wanted the Unicorn b/c I live with teenage boys who would swipe anything even remotely neutral, and I jumped when it hit $65. (Its $95 at the time of this writing, which is a big swing!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great portability. Questionable quality at max volume.

I went and compared 3 similar portable speakers with each other (same price of around $100 each):

    JBL Flip 4
    - Best quality sound of the 3 (amazing quality - very similar to Bose Soundlink Mini)
    - No noticeable crackle at max volume with high treble in music
    - Strongest/deepest bass (my table was shaking on max volume)
    - Very loud max volume

    Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM
    - Smaller than JBL 4 but larger than Bose Micro
    - Crackling at max volume for some songs with high treble (Was not expecting this)
    - Bass is not as strong (very slight bass)
    - Very loud max volume (similar to JBL 4)

    Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth
    - Smallest of the 3
    - Max sound was at 75% that of JBL 4/Ultimate Ears
    - Sounds "muffled" and not clear (quality is not even close to that of Bose Soundlink Mini)
    - Exposed charging slot (is this really waterproof?)

Overall - I would pick JBL (amazing quality & very similar to Bose Soundlink Mini, but waterproof!) and Ultimate Ears for portability (75 % size of JBL 4). The Bose Micro, although very small, had really poor quality sound for the price (most disappointing).
