    I'd never purchased a second-hand computer through Amazon before, but after buying this in 2024 (writing the review a year later), I’m happy I did. I had been debating between a brand-new computer and this refurbished 2023 Pro M2 Max, and I’m so glad I saved a thousand dollars by opting for ‘last year’s model.’ The computer arrived looking basically brand new—original box and all—and shipped super fast. The M2 Max chip is an absolute game-changer. It makes this computer blazingly fast—ridiculously fast, actually. Zero complaints so far. Really, you don't need 'this year's model' unless you do full time video work with special effects, probably.

    I can even run Adobe Premiere Pro on it—one of the most memory-hungry programs out there—and I’m able to render short timelapses (up to six minutes) insanely fast. Each minute of video only takes about a minute of rendering time, which is a massive improvement over my old MacBook Air (which, to be honest, couldn’t even handle Premiere Pro at all). I can practically feel Adobe Premiere bowing to the raw power of this machine.

    I did buy a protective case and a keyboard cover right away to try to prolong the life of this computer and keep it from getting banged up. The only downside is that it can get a little warm when you really push this computer. I specifically picked a hardshell case with little feet to prop it up and allow for better airflow - definitely helps a lot.

    I love,love, love my new MacBook Pro . I chose “excellent condition “ when purchasing the Mac . And that is exactly what I got !
    The pictures provided were taken day 3 of having the Mac . The pictures are of the Mac with a clear case on and a clear keyboard cover.
    The Mac functions well and is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or marks on the Mac. This looks like a new unit!
    The only downside is that I was not able to purchase AppleCare for the Mac as the Mac is out of the period for AppleCare purchase . But I still have a few months left from the Apple 1 year warranty. Still a very awesome purchase!

    Bought this “excellent” condition MacBook from a refurbisher called JemJem. When I got the MacBook i noticed that it had tons of scratches all over it, dings, chipped paint, and had 82% battery capacity. It also had a 229 charge cycle!! Overall, I was very disappointed that an “excellent” condition product turned out to be like this.

    Just like what the other review suggested: brand new machine cosmetic wise, new cable, new charger, latest Sonoma MacOS, battery cycle only 2 with Apple 1 year limited warranty. You are basically paying M3 MBP price for what you would normally get for $1999. Worth every penny.

    My experience is with QuickShipElectronics seller, apparently they have pretty good rep on Amazon, EBay and they are one of the authorized retailer for Apple as well. I can’t say about other sellers but if you happens to buy from them, go ahead without worry too much.

    The first day I got it,I loved it. Left it on charge over night and got up the next morning and found that it had Go a defective battery. I ask for a refund and got one.

    I bought this product about 2 months ago, and is great! the specifications are the same, no physical details on the mac whatsoever. Since it's a renewed product it did came with 90%-87% of battery life(kind of disappointed because I thought it could be changed), and the charger cable was not usable(burned on each end). If that could be a problem for you, then don't take the risk. I am happy with what I bought because of price and I did know these details on amazon renewed products beforehand, but if you don't have a problem, you should definitely have this in mind.
