This is a very good TV if you're on a budget and you want to get something decent for your man cave although the sound is not great that these things put out that's not really what you buy a modern TV for and its more for the picture if you are going to buy a flat panel I would highly recommend a soundbar to go along with it for better experience my dad has the same TCL and the sound is underwhelming two say the least
But that's not what you buy a flat panel for since most of the sound quality on flat panels has gone down nowadays but if you do by this I would recommend getting a JBL soundbar to go along with it and if you do buy it I would recommend getting a table top or a wall mount TV stand if you have a skinny entertainment center the TV legs are not going to do you any good I kind of wish it had a pedestal mount but if you want to have it on your skinny entertainment center and you want to go big you're going to need a tabletop TV stand to go with it and I'd highly recommend getting a JBL soundbar or any other kind of Soundbar that's ranked I don't recommend just using TV speakers you're not going to get the full home theater experience if you just use the TV speakers other than that though the TV is a nice bang for the buck besides having to buy a separate TV stand I really wish they would go back to the old pedestal mounts though instead of the unsturdy TV feet I wouldn't trust those things with my life for my TV if you're going to get one I recommend a wall mount or a flat pedestal stand to buy and mounting it whether you manage to the wall or on a pedestal stand is up to you but you can easily find a much more sturdy pedestal stand on Amazon for less than thirty bucks and it's made out of metal and will last unlike the flimsy TV feet which I do not trust which is why I wish they would go back to the old school pedestal mounts they were much sturdier and could hold up a lot more weight I didn't even bother with the TV feet when I got mine the picture quality so far has been great like I said I just wish they would go back to the old pedestal mount for every TV manufacturer this doesn't just go for TCL to me it stinks that you have to buy a separate stand if you want a pedestal Mount nowadays but to be honest I would just get that even if you have a wide entertainment center I would not trust those flimsy TV feed at all TV feet aren't really that great in my opinion if you're going to get a tempered glass TV mount but the picture quality is great it is worth the money you pay for it I'm just saying it would be best to get a separate TV stand if you're going to buy a $230 TV so make sure you protect your investment and get a good stand and do not trust those flimsy TV feet
