    Not sure how this can be, but it heats water to 200 degrees F. For my coffee faster than heating water on the stove. (Maybe I should mention that I live in rural Oregon and must fell a tree, remove the limbs, cut it in sections, and chop it to stove lengths, to make fire to heat water).
    Okay, that’s hyperbole. I do live in Oregon but have a natural gas range.
    And, really, I think this thing heats faster than the tea kettle.
    And that is all I know about it. My spouse drinks tea and needs things about water temperature that I don’t understand. (She also can also multiply fractions, which I struggle with). She’s handy.
    Oh, right…about the kettle…works for me.

    I like it. This thing really changed my mind on tea kettles. When I want ramen, I have it within 5 minutes, at any temperature. Now I know why the rest of the world are all about these things, because theyre smart and quick, and this one is so good at both.

    Owned this for several months and use it everyday. Temp settings are great. Great value. We love it. I make French press coffee and husband drinks a large thermos of hot tea every morning. Plenty of hot water for both. Quick and quiet. No issues. Buy it now. Tried 2 other really cheap ones bad idea they died fast.
