    If you have a 4th generation Camaro this is the LS1 alternator. The alternator works great, just make sure to remove a bracket on the engine block at the back of the alternator or you won't be able to remove the old one. There is not a lot of room so take your time and you'll be able to install this reman is a couple hours.

    Do not buy! After installing I had a terrible chirp. I thought it was the belt...but when I took the belt off and spun the pull it squeaked like crazy.

    Works fine, runs strong of course. Brand new. Beware the secondary lead that runs into the top, the wire is super thin and easy to break. And it's what tells the alternator to CHARGE.

    When you break it, it's common, you can find the harness searching "alternator pigtail" and your car, then splice it in...
