    I see reviews on this item saying that they received a unit that had play in it but I took a chance and the I received is like a brand new one. Much cheaper than a new one but performs the same I'm very happy with this I would definitely recommend.

    Remanufactured power steering gear box. Exact fit to a 2005 chevy avalanche.
    It was installed 3/13/20 together with a brand new pitman Arm on my truck. It was bought to replace my truck old leaking power steering gear box one
    What a big change on the steering (steering wheel). It went from a loose steering feeling to like a brand new truck.
    Item arrive in good condition. Since this is a remanufactured part then i Will update review later if any defects are noticed but so far, all good!

    *******UPDATE: Dec 10th, 2022 the part has finally gone bad and has started leaking. It will need to be replaced again. Pretty much it lasted for about 2 years and 5 month Aprox… not bad for being a remanufactured part

    Restored the steering in my 16yr-old truck to like new. Been in almost a month, no problems. I have had great luck with Cardone remanufactured components in the past and this is no exception.

    There was paint on the mounting bolt holes input and output shafts like it was dunked in paint should know better paint had to all be removed which took a long time splines were rounded over and was pushing steel into brand new pitman arm after this gets installed it better work correctly after all the time it took to prepare to be installed Very frustrated husband Rhonda Bemis not going to recommend to anyone else don't really deserve a star

    The media could not be loaded.
    Lots of play. In the video I say gold cap on right it’s reversed in video. These are only painted and get new seals. When someone sends a worn core in it stays worn. Buy something better that’s actually rebuilt. Now I have to do this twice. Buy once cry once with a better brand.
