5.0 out of 5 stars Great price on new mics

I would love to know what makes these “renewed.” The box is new, the case is new, the mics appear brand new. There isn’t a scuff, a mark or any blemish on the mic that would make one believe this has even been out of the case. The instructions are all new.

I believed the reviews on this and was glad I did. No BS in the positives. These are great studio mics for voice, great for podcasting, good for instruments.

I had gone the cheap route for the MXL BCD-1, which is only about $50 cheaper than these. And I sent those back. These RE320’s sound better and have a better track record than the cheap mics.

Be mindful of buying cheaper high impedance mics. For a few bucks more, you can get one of these.

I paid $198, didn’t get a cent for this review. If it was helpful, please hit the button.

5.0 out of 5 stars IT IS NEW! I just love it!
Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2020
I was looking for a good mic to buy and after days of research between the best dynamic microphones out there, I settled on the RE320 because it has very nice reviews on YouTube, gearslutz.com, Reddit, etc. for its price (RE20/SM7b are also good, but too expensive for me).
I was very skeptical when I first ordered this mic as RENEWED. I have never ordered used electrical items before because I know they won't be as good as new, and was ready to return if I found any minimal issues with it. The mic is PERFECT! I could not even tell if the box has been opened before or not! All accessories are there and original (not much accessories anyway, just the boom arm mount), the case, the documents and the mic itself does not have a single scratch on the body, not even a finger print!
The mic sounds amazing! I'm getting a FetHead because my Scarlett gives a little bit of noise when I get the gain to around 80~90% (you have to), but overall, I'm very satisfied and happy with this purchase! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems new, not a refurb

I ordered this mic "renewed" and hoped for the best. The item arrived in it's original packaging with unopened instructions. The mic seems new and unused, not one scratch or even fingerprints on it. Perhaps someone ordered it and changed their mind and returned it?
As far as the mic itself, I was using a Rode Procaster but it seemed "muddy" with my low, bassy voice. After seeing numerous YouTube reviews and recommendations on this mic, I pulled the trigger. While not head and shoulders above the Procaster, it does seem to be more "clear" and has slightly less bass which is fine by me. I will be using it as my main mic for now but in the future? Who knows?

(Update) I paired this mic with a FetHead which replaced the Cathedral Pipes Durham I was using previously and this mics sound improved dramatically.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Mid Priced Mike for diverse uses.

This mic produces sweet sounds. It rejects noise well and is clear. The feel and look are second to none. Of course, as with any mic, you need to take care of your recording environment to a minimum. We are super happy with this purchase and look forward to getting a few more for the studio. We use this mic for voice.

Two years later: I have to say almost 2 years later, these mics performance is beyond my expectations. The quality is professional for voice. We use analog equipment to treat our voice, and it’s just Great sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sounds great, decent price

This mic is overkill if you just want to stream, it does produce very clear vocals. If you want to sound like a radio DJ, this is perfect to achieve that sound. But if you just want something for online meetings or casual streaming, look at cheaper alternatives.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST MIC

I'm blown away from this very crisp and clear audio, I dont live in the quietest home but this mic picks up none of it! I'm glad I came across this microphone, especially being sold renewed for $100 less than brand new, which does look brand new! I also bought a preamp for it, highly recommend. Overall I'm in love.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice bright sound but too much EMI
Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2020
Of all the mics I tried this one had the brightest sound, I would have kept it but it had EMI noise I could not get rid of. Ended up with a Rode Procaster instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks New to me!

The box was a little beat up but the fabric case on the inside still had that factory-new smell. Not the kinda smell that permeates in a mic closet. Maybe the plastic was opened and it was returned? IDK but there is not a fingerprint or blemish on this microphone. Great buy!
