I already had a charger and spare batteries from a Ryobi Mister Fan. So adding this was a no brainer. It works great for trimming hedges and tree branches. Good for trimming tall weeds too

I bought two refurbs, this and a ryobi chainsaw. Chainsaw came with a dull chain that needed to be replaced. Once a sharp chain was installed, the chainsaw last through less than six cuts of SAPLINGS before some component inside the saw failed. This, on the other hand, has lasted significantly longer. But I have been very careful to just use it in vines and light shrubbery along the fence lines on my property. I have to hand prune thicker branches before applying the trimmer, since my experience with the chainsaw has resulted in my apprehension against being out another $60 on garbage refurbs.

Disreputable company

Do not do business with this third party company. They sold me a refurbished but defective item. It cost me $27.00 to return it by USPS. They responded that the trimmer worked perfectly and charged me a $15.99 restocking fee. To be clear it stopped cutting the first try. This company is totally disreputable.

I have a larger home outdoor home grow. I can’t hand trim the amount I grow every year and needed something to speed the trimming up with. Specific herb trimmers are 5x the price just because of the industry. This worked great. Be careful and just get the bulk off go back and get any smell ones left

I accidentally purchased this used item. It says all required accessories included, battery and charger are apparently not essential. Because I then needed a battery and charger which cost as much, the price became unreasonable. Found this item, brand new at HD with charger and battery. I am "approved" to return item, at my expense. Found this to be one inconvenient purchase. Hope not to make this mistake again.
