Such a steal!

I wanted desperately to upgrade my series 3, but lord did I not want to pay the amount for a series 9 through my phone company. I LOVE THIS WATCH! It works fantastic, and for the price, I really feel like it was a steal. It came in perfect condition, no scratches or marks. It did take a while for it to boot up, but that's to be expected. I've had it for a while now and the battery life is perfect! It really was a great purchase!

I ordered this for my husband and was very impressed with this refurbished Apple Watch! It is a newer version and was in excellent condition. It was a great price for what I was getting. The watch did not have a single noticeable scratch or mark on it. It looked as if it was brand new. The battery life is perfect and it works as expected. The band that it came with also looked brand new. It has both sizes for a larger or smaller wrist. If you are giving as a gift the only thing to note is that it just came in a cardboard box, not the original apple packaging.

This isn't a long term review, but if anything changes I'll update it. As of now the watch is amazing. I see after one person mentioned presentation, that improved greatly with mine lol. Packaging aside, everything is working great, battery life is 100%. The entire watch looks and feels brand new from the apple store. The first day had me seriously concerned about the battery lasting though, but apparently the watch was just doing a lot of downloading and setting up in the background which was decreasing the battery by at least 20% per hour which I thought seemed nuts. After changing some settings and getting things set up efficiently plus the set up process finalizing, everything is perfect. Under normal circumstances it's been on for over an hour now with a few text alerts coming through etc. and battery is still 100%. At this rate it should last a solid amount of time. The apps on this are really cool. The health stuff like heart monitoring and blood oxygen levels are awesome to have. The workout apps are set up pretty nice as well. It would be nice if there were a better way to do updates and whatnot though than doing it via your iphones bluetooth. Like youtube reviews etc. mention it's sooooo slow. I thought something was wrong with the watch at first. Set up and downloading watchOS 10 take a solid 3-4 hours. The install is beyond slow doing it via bluetooth. Going through this thing with a fine tooth comb and getting every single app optimized for battery efficiency etc. took a good 12 plus hours and a ton of youtube videos all mentioning different little tips and tricks. Lots of troubleshooting occurred too. The complications on the watches face screen weren't functioning right which required to reset the location and privacy data in the phone plus a couple other steps. The watch was doing a lot of weird stuff that was destroying it's battery and wasting storage at rapid speeds. That's all just apple, nothing to do with it being renewed or the seller etc. They all run the same software in them regardless. Just being real about it, the set up process of this watch wasn't pleasant and kinda made me disappointed in the purchase initially but once I got that out of the way it's working incredibly well. Also this being a cellular version, you need to contact your carrier in advance and register this with them via the IMEI number from the phone's about section. You'll just get errors when trying to set up cellular prior to that. All in all though, the watch is great, and I love the design, especially how easy it is to switch out straps of whatever style or color you want. Those are much cheaper than I expected them to be as well so I immediately grabbed a handful of different options. Definitely recommend anyone interested in an apple watch to try this. It shows up in brand new condition, these only came out less than a year ago so even original parts are still very lightly used with a long life ahead of them. Even with a few frustrations, it gets two thumbs up from me.

The watch have worked amazing so far, it came with no scratches at all, brand new, great quality watch.
It took some time to charge before Inciukd start setting it up, it also was little challenging to update it with the current software version, it took like 3 hours.
After that, everything was great!

I don’t normally write reviews but this was one of the more expensive products I’ve bought on Amazon and thought I should share my experience. The watch is relative new being a series 8 and you really can’t beat the price. This watch would have been so expensive to buy directly from Apple. It works as if it’s brand new even though it’s refurbished. There was only one teeney tiny scuff mark on the front of the watch near the edge but I’m talking it was so small I didn’t even see it when I first got the watch.

I read the other reviews before buying it and a lot of them said how it came to them totally dead and they were worried it wouldn’t turn on or they thought there was a problem with the charging cord that came with it. To avoid that problem I also bought a charging cord directly from apple when I placed my order. I will say the watch was dead and would not turn on but it lit up with the apple symbol immediately once I put it on the apple charger rather than the one that came with it. It then turned on maybe a few short minutes later.

My only irritation when I got the watch was that whoever packaged it put a sticker across the back of the watch where the charger would snap onto, the sticker had a QR code and some info about the watch on it The problem was that when I tried to remove the sticker it left glue residue ALL over the back of the watch. It was just irritating to clean off, luckily I had some rubbing alcohol and was able to scrub the glue residue off after a few minutes but still they should have used a different type of sticker that wouldn’t have done that.

Overall great purchase and I highly recommend going this route rather than buying it new.

Great watch, just as new, but watch band was not genuine Apple

Watch was great and behaved as new. I ordered this with the midnight sport band (rubber, plastic). However, the band seemed aftermarket. It was nice because it had two nubs to hold the band attached to the wrist. However, the band is more rubbery and flexible than the genuine apple band. As a resulty, it is more difficult to put the watch band on because you have to squeeze the execss band material through a hole and between the skin of your wrist and the inside of the watch band. Since the material is too rubbery/flexible, it does not push in easily and you have to coax and battle this every time you put hte watch on your wrist. An honest pain in the butt. Lesson...GET THE REAL GENUINE WATCH BAND! Whether you purhcase this refurbished item and get the real band from Apple, or just get this item directly from Apple, make sure you get a genuine apple band. Good luck!
