I knew I was buying a "renewed" saw so I expected just the bare bones- I already have the 18 Vbattery pack for the RYOBI yard tools-( I have about 3 of them actually- didn't need a 4th) This fit them perfectly, I figured this would only be the actual saw, I was ready for that so I bought a set of blades so that I could get to work when it was delivered. When I opened the box it was very securely boxed for shipping. Of course there is the users manual included but there was also a blade that was included in the pack up. I was super excited because all I had to do was plug in the battery pack attach the free blade and get to work, ( the other set of blades had not come in yet.) I bought this for pruning purposes and it worked for that. The saw its self is pretty light weight without the battery attached so with the battery attached I don't feel like I need ninja skills to do simple quick trimming. I am very happy with this saw.
