This has worked extremely well and, as far as I can tell, is exactly identical to the original one I have from back in the day. It woks well, allows you to play a few of the more complex games that absolutely need it and require it, but also improves graphics for others that do not actually require it. A good example of this is Star Wars Rogue Squadron. It is a very fun game and you can play it without the Expansion Pak. But if you get the expansion Pak, you can then play in Hi-Resolution mode. It will make it extra awesome.
You can find lists online of all the games that can be enhanced with the expansion pak, but there are quite a few, so it is worth buying it. I have looked for a second one for a while and couldn't find a decent price. This one is a great price and it seems to be brand new. I know it says "renewed" so maybe they cleaned it or something, but it looks and operates as well as, or better than, my original.
