    Getting it for the reduced price really was the right move. I love JBL speakers, and getting it renewed from here was the right move, and I'm really glad. Basically completely brand new, except for one scuff. From the actual speaker standpoint, it's a high quality speaker coming from a high quality, renowned brand. It sounds really good, connects to your phone really easily, and talks to other JBL speakers so you can compound music with other people that also own JBL speakers. I did drop it once, and there was a slight scuff on the translucent plastic, but isn't noticeable. Really durable, and will definitely last a long time. Make sure you actually use your speaker, and not just baby it the whole time.

    This JBL Flip 5 bluetooth portable speaker arrive in perfect condition and the sound out of this little speakers is outstanding. I would recommend and have recommended this product to others and is well worth the price.

    It's a JBL speaker it sounds excellent, looks great and fits into the side pocket of your backpack. It's a little taller that the flip 4, the lanyard is shorter, it had a new display for the battery. The refurbished model I got was in excellent condition sounds great and was charged right off the bat so I could see if it was working well. I was going to buy another new flip 4 I've had mine for several years when I saw this refurbished model for the same price and decided to try it out as the 4 has not failed me to date. You can't beat this deal honestly.

    These speakers are wonderful! They were purchased to provide dance music while camping or in a hotel room, and I couldn't be happier. The sound quality is terrific. Really. Wonderful sound.. Flip 5 phones allow for "Party Boost", meaning up to 100 of them can be connected together, providing an excellent sound platform. They also have a bass boost function, so the bass sounds can be amped up. One of the three speakers will be dedicated to bass.
    The speakers also claim to be waterproof and can withstand submersion for 30 min, 1 meter deep. Not gonna try that, BUT I am convinced I could leave them out while camping without any loss of sound quality.

    I simply lve JBL speaker line. The sund quality is always great! if you can get one that has bass in it get it! because it is nice and loud. the battery life as well suprises me. it does take a litte while to charge from zero but ounce charged ive noticed that it lasts me for days,especially when i dont use it every day. one neat feature these JBL FLIP line has is that in the newer models,like this one, you can link up multiple
    JBL speakers together to play the same audio sound,so you get this massive audio experience. That feature works,OK for me, i have a JBL charge 5, and hooked them up together and the sound comes through ok but! the bluetooth signal will mess up randomly and wont play the audio in one speaker but only the other? it does this randomly so maybe its just a singal issue? like something in the way of the bluetooth signal? thats my best guess. anyways! i cant recommend this speaker and the line in general,if you are in the need of a portable speaker. also its waterproof! love using mine in the shower. My only real gripe is the price! they r supe expensive line of speakers! So definitely buy when on sale!

    The box was a little scratched up, but nothing to bad.
    It arrived with no impairment and no marks, like new.
    The sound is clear and full, and it can get loud (I usually play at 25-40% Max).

    I did some testing, against some other Bluetooth speakers I have used previously.
    It had much more dynamic range and better base than the Bose Soundlink Color as well as the Ultimate Ears MegaBoom 2 which is much bigger than the Flip 5 although older. (I had people listen with their backs turned and asked which were better).

    It is about the size of a 20 ounce, and can fit in my bikes water bottle holder. I have never had any connection issues or interruptions. There is some latency which can make it hard to watch videos. The range is good where I feel confident I can take it to the other side of the house throw it out the window and it would still be connected and playing. The body feels solid and durable. I have taken it into the shower a couple times as well as use it nearly every day and it still holds up well.

    Pros:
    -Sounds Great
    -Durable
    -Good Battery life

    Cons:
    - Latency (not super noticeable, but may be annoying too some)
