    I'm very pleased with this product. I was unable to make space for the sound bar underneath the tv so I decided to wall mount it above. The necessary brackets are included in the kit. The woofer offers variable bass settings, but I found the default to be most pleasing for my living room. It adds depth to voices and provides a full spectrum of music without being overbearing. If, however, you really like the thumping sound of bass, that's available. I've got it cabled into my ARC output, so the system powers on immediately with the tv; I don't have to make a selection for it. After doing extensive shopping on Amazon, my first selection was a product that was much cheaper, and it failed so I sent it back. I then looked at the next pricing tier and found this Samsung. It did cost a little more, but the quality, after several weeks of service, has been excellent. And if you have done similar shopping, you know that you can spend a whole lot more money on similar products.

    I read many reviews and several online articles before I opted for this SAMSUNG HW-B550 2.1 ch Soundbar w/Dolby Audio 2022. I have a Yamaha ATS 1080 soundbar that has issues with disconnecting frequently even on HDMI. This Samsung soundbar sounds much better, has much better features and connects every time.
    The Samsung bar itself is smaller but the added subwoofer means I had to find some floor space. The sound is bigger!
    As for the negative I can say that the lack of an equalizer to adjust range is disappointing. You can turn the subwoofer up or down - and thats it! No other adjustments can be made besides volume, sound mode and subwoofer. But I think at this price range that much is acceptable.

    Purchased this soundbar for my husband for Christmas. It doesn't work and won't even power on. I would never purchase another one.

    This was less than half of the list price for certified renewed. It seemed completely new to me, I couldn't even tell if the package had ever been opened!
    Great sound for the price range. Easy to set up. Made in Vietnam. Easy to control with a Samsung TV.
    Note that it includes an optical cable but not an HDMI cable. With HDMI you can use ARC and HDMI-CEC which can be convenient. If you connect it with HDMI, you may have to disconnect your TVs power and then plug it back in to get everything to be recognized correctly. But that's not a soundbar problem.
    I'm very happy with this purchase!

    Definite upgrade from my previous soundbar & which I really enjoyed that as well but this one in particular delivers all of the qualities you could possibly need. Thunder lighting bass & you can fine tune it a bit to your liking, I highly recommend using a Samsung smart tv. Optical cords offer the best sound performance but Ik some prefer BT or PCM anywho best bang for your buck as they say. I say it feels like I’m there. Haha I’ll tell you what I have no complaints. Def will have this for a v long time, no fr this thing gets loud man.

    We're in a move and a pod has to go a few month before the rest and so I packed up my B&W 5.1 system I've had forever and was looking for an inexpensive 1st soundbar to use in the meantime so I didn't have to suffer with the TV speaker...It did take some tweaking but luckily there are a few options for tweaking the sound.... I'm impressed with this thing... for the money it sounds pretty good. The "renewed " version was a great deal and it looks brand new
