I left my Wonderboom 2 somewhere on a mountain, so I came here to replace it, and saw that I'd purchased it FOUR YEARS AGO, in October 2019. For its size and portability I never heard a better sounding speaker and got lots of compliments on it. I definitely never knew a tougher speaker, either. I dropped it a million times -- a few times from a moving motorcycle, many times into the bathtub --- no problem. Nothing bothered it. It still worked perfectly and sounded great, and I went back to the mountain and searched for it. It was a champ, and I miss it, but I'm a little excited to see if the Wonderboom 3 I'm ordering now is actually better.

I am absolutely in love with this speaker, its small but it really packs a punch. It started up upon opening the package and came with a generic charger. This is not sent directly from UE, so if thats what youre looking for, this is not the product for you. It is refurbished, and doesn't come with any instructions, but it works easily and is simple to navigate. You can also look up the instructions on the manufacturer's website. I use it in the shower where it does it get slightly wet and the water brushes right off and doesn't affect the quality of sound at all. The bass is incredible and I like the big volume controls on the front of the speaker. All in all, an absolutely incredible quality speaker for half the price of a brand spanking new one.

I've loved my WONDERBOOM since receiving it! The sound is full, despite it's convenient size (note: the size is about 2 male fists put together). Despite this being "Certified Refurbished" and not new, I've experienced little to no issues!

Minor issues:
1) I could not get it to connect to the bluetooth on my MacBook. However, it works on my housemate's MacBook, so I'm assuming it must be because my MacBook is a bit old.
2) I hear some crackling occasionally. Not loud or extremely noticeable, but I do notice it occasionally. (This could be occurring when the battery is close to getting low, but I haven't confirmed this.)
3) I would prefer more volume transition options. For example, instead of going from volume level 1 to 2, I think it would be awesome to have a 1.5 or even 1.25, 1.5, 1.75. (I hope that makes sense.) The reason I say this is because sometimes in raising or lowering the volume, the change is too drastic. It either becomes too loud or too quiet. A nice balance of more minor volume change options would be great!

I bring it with me to the gym every workout, just in case I get the gym all to myself (which is not uncommon). Heck, I wait until the first person shows up who doesn't wear earbuds.
Enough bass to satisfy, but not so much that you can't turn it up to a decent volume late at night in your apartment. Best of both worlds.
Great little speaker. A must-have for any music lover. Great response across the sound spectrum. Doesn't have that monotonous Bose or Sony sound.

I repurchased this item after the first one stopped recharging (two years of use) because the sound is awesome. The first one was brand new with great Bluetooth connection at a distance from source as well as sound quality.
This second one I bought I thought was brand new but when it arrived there was a "refurbished" note inside the box, even though this item was the same price as the brand new one from my first purchase.
Reduced this item 1 star because it was not clearly marked in the ad as refurbished and the Bluetooth connection is spotty where the brand new one was not. 3 stars for portability.
Battery life is about 8 hrs continuous use. I use during web meetings to enhance the laptop speakers.
I would buy this again but not a refurbished one.

I saw this at Best Buy, but purchased it on Amazon because it was $12 cheaper. The speaker is awesome. It puts out so much sound - high quality. When I tested it against JBL, Sony and Bose in the store, there was no comparison. I got it for my son's 21st birthday. He was ecstatic. He said it pumped out so much sound - it was unbelievable (the police had to stop buy and politely asked him to turn it down). Because it's waterproof and portable, he can take it with him anywhere including the beach! He said he had a JBL that didn't hold up and the Wonderboom was so much better. He Wondered how I (50 something Mom) even knew about it. I shop! I think I'll get one for myself.

instead of buying a $200 blue tooth speaker, spend a little less on two of these. I use them during car work. I'm moved them around throughout projects. I've gotten all matter of grim/oil on them, and then cleaned them off a bid with damp towels. they still sound like they did the day I got them.

of course there isn't any bass. what did you expect from something like this?! good highs, great mids, and solid low mids. they get low enough in the mids that they sound like they have a bit of bass. if you want portability you're going to have to say good bye to good bass. I don't believe I've heard anything more expensive sound significantly better or get significantly louder.
