I am not going to downgrade my rating because of the crippled remote control that comes with it. The remote or the tower provides no feedback regarding the settings it controls.

It is a powerful audio device with excellent quality sound and permeating deep bass, certainly an overkill for my basement home theater. A backyard party with this bad boy is a lot of fun. Not so much for the neighbors though.

My refurbished tower came with no discernible signs of prior use, I guess I got lucky.

This speaker is truly amazing! I have been so impressed with it I bought another one. Pairing 2 of these together is overkill for any situation! With volume down low 2 paired is as good as music gets! Turned up past 50% with 2 paired together..... Let's just say from 400 yards away it sounds like there is a massive party happening somewhere! Lol

This portable sound tower is a power house great bass and clarity. It's easy to move with the wheels located underneath. It's not to heavy. This does need to be plugged in as it does not have an internal battery. I got mine refurbished at Amazon it was half the price of a new one, it came pretty new looking with not damage of any sort. I love this purchase definitely worth every dollar.

Overall the product is really good especially for the price it was given. The sound quality and bass are very good and are high quality. The only downside is like the previous review the packaging was not good at all. The package showed up with a very broken box and only a tiny bit of styrofoam protecting it. I got lucky my product stayed intact and didn’t end up broken. Very good speaker overall.
