At NexiGo, the integrity is one of our core values. That's why we use standardized ANSI Lumens to measure the brightness of all our projectors, ensuring that our specifications are accurate and reliable. Our commitment to providing affordable, reliable, and honest projectors is what sets us apart and ensures the best possible customer experience.

【The Sound】But it's not just the visuals that make the NexiGo PJ40 movie projector stand out. The built-in 20W Powerful built-in speakers provide an enhanced auditory experience, while Bluetooth 5.1 easily connects the projector to headphones, speakers, and other audio equipment. It is great for both indoor and outdoor uses, making it the perfect choice for movie nights, game nights, and backyard gatherings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for price

Given the price range it is very good. Brightness is solid, picture quality is solid, and adjustable fan speed is really good. Would be nice for the legs to be slightly easier to level, the remote control isn't the best and the speakers are not great but this is all acceptable given the price range. Overall I definitely recomend.

3.0 out of 5 stars The most important thing to know is this was a used projector sold by Amazon

It would have been five stars if it wasn't for this problem that just arose...
I was extremely satisfied at first with this projector and in some ways I still am. Everything all that was working perfectly even the USB you just can't use anything over 32 GB.
The speakers were amazing screencasting was easy and worked well except for on the Android side for instance I have a Galaxy and it did not work but my kids iPhone works great.
Bluetooth works perfect you can literally hook it up to anything be it headphone speakers or whatever, Wi-Fi work great too
my issue is what you see in the picture above I've had it now for I think three or four months and that discoloration started off at the top right hand corner of the screen and within a week and a half it looks like it does now..
and from everything I've read online so far, it's most likely going to keep spreading more and since it was bought used that voids nexigo warranty and Amazon only warranties 30 days.
But I saw not just this brand but several other brands of this tier projector having the same issue.
I'm not sure if any of this helps any of you make your decision but I hope it gives you at least some insight ...good luck.

1.0 out of 5 stars Black spots on screen straight out of the box, no remote, no manual, no powercord
Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2024
Bought a projector as a Black Friday 'Exclusive for Prime members' deal, it did not say 'refurbished' or 'used' but 'New' and the original order still states 'New.' What I got was something opened up, looted of all accessories and thrown back in a wrecked box. What an absolute scam. There is no way any human tested this or even hooked it up once to look at it or service it because as soon as you turn it on you can see black dirt that's on the LCD projecting on screen in two locations, dead pixel spots and there is light leaking at the edges, clearly faulty/dusty.

Nobody could look at that and say it is acceptable or ready for sale to a customer. This is outrageous. Cleary a return came in, was thrown back in a box and shipped straight back out. No remote control, No power cable, No manual. Where am I supposed to find a remote in Europe, they don't ship them. This is just terrible customer service and I pay for Prime too (Which have just cancelled). Absolutely outrageous. Avoid. They offer a ridiculous $15 towards return shipping but it costs About 75 Euros to ship back.

Update: Upon contacting NexiGo they made absolutely no apology or acknowledgement as regards the condition of the unit. A customer care rep said 'they will see' if a remote could be sent. 5 weeks later, 'we are not able to ship.' They can ship a 3.5kg projector in a big box but can't ship a 200 gram piece of plastic that fits in the palm of the hand? Make it make sense...Avoid.

I have a scratch or black mark on the inside of the projector lens that projects on the screen. Watching a movie, not too noticeable, but watching live TV, looks like someone throw mud on the forehead of the broadcaster. Also, there is a slight one to second skip/ delay when watching live TV. Guess processor is slow, if it has one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bright enough to see with some light from other rooms.

I like how you can adjust the picture and square it up to your screen, I like how there is no lag with the voice, I dislike the negative reviews because if my pictures is going to deteriorate one way or another, or my LED melts or have picture problems, I will be upset to say the least.

1.0 out of 5 stars Projector isnt worth it. Not having luck getting this fixed or replaced.
Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2024
The projector isnt terrible for the price. Actually the original impression was not bad. But its basically a phone LED with a light shining on it. After a few weeks I started seeing dust and trash on the screen. then a few months after that the LED in the projector melted. Image on the right side is a globe of melted image/ missing. I reached out to amazon and didnt even get a return reply. I had to log back into the system to see the window of replacement / support is closed. I am about to try the path at the company but dont do it. if you want a good projector you need to bump up the $.
