I have many units that use these Delco SI series alternators. Perform well for thousands of hours.
Did notice it was rebuilt in China. Some people may prefer different.

I bought this alternator in April of 22 and it's been sitting in a box on a shelf until last week when I installed it on my truck. It did not work. Obviously too late to return it so I took it apart.I I tested the diodes two of which were bad from the picture you could see that the part was not replaced it's pretty grubby. Also for brushes one looks to be new and the other one looks to be worn. I think whoever remanufactured this did not do a very good job. Update 3-18-24, Replaced the regulator, rectifier and bushings with all new parts that bench tested good. Put it together and still nothing. Most be a larger problem like the stator maybe. Not going to buy a new one to find out. Just lost out on this deal.
