if you want awesome sound this is the headset for you. the mic does work well but it sounds spacey. it picks up everything in the room and I mean everything. it appears to have an omni directional mic and not a directional. you cannot adjust this either. I use this on my PC so I needed to buy the Xbox adapter in order for the mic to work. I am very happy with them. I listen to music play games such as GTA online, Red Dead Redemption 2, rust, transport fever 2 Farming Simulator 17 19 21. the sound quality is really really good. your spacial awareness is pretty deep. I just wish the mic sounded better. for the price though you get amazing sound quality

So I had purchased a similar item through amazon warehouse "like new" condition. I did some research first on what to expect on a "like new" item and it was suppose to be almost brand new, and what I received was literal garbage, it came broken in pieces. So I was really IFFY about buying another renewed/refurb item from amazon, but the price was just good so decided to give it one more shot. Glad I did, you could not tell the item was refurbished at all, it looked brand new, came in a generic box with a turtle beach branded slip on the box. The headset was bubble wrapped and came with a turtle beach branded charge cable. Super easy to pair with my Xbox, the sounds its pretty good and the volume is loud but crisp at the higher levels. Doesn't have Bluetooth as some of the more pricey headsets out there but that was ok with me, for your casual gamer its great! I would recommend this renewed headset, it's definitely worth it!

I have been through so many headsets and this one finally hits home on everything I’m looking for. These headphones are arguably the best headphones on the market for the Xbox.

The fact that there is no USB dongle required sold me right out of the gate, the rest of the features were a bonus for me. USB-C Charging, Bluetooth for phones and PC AND wireless connection for Xbox, memory foam cushions that don’t hurt after 30 mins of use, flip down mic to talk flip up to mute and separate volume channels for chat and game.

Oh and did I mention the refurbished pair is only $99????? They came in an official refurbished box from Turtle Beach with paperwork inside and they look and feel new, seriously.

This is a great headset to use with an Xbox one or Xbox series x/s because of its wireless connection and zero lag. My favorite part about turtle beach is the super hearing feature! I use these to play warzone and it really let's me hear enemy footsteps and loot boxes easy. My only gripe about the headset is that after a year or two of heavy use, the plastic connecting the left speaker to the headset might Crack like it has to my first pair. I think this a design flaw that will hopefully be reconfigured in the stealth 700 GEN 3. For now I would highly recommend you purchase a warranty just in case.

I'm going to be short here.

I'm coming from the Razer Nari Ultimate for XBOX so these have a lot to live up to.

Amazing sound. I smash in COD already but these make me smash more.

The comfort is top quality. No ear fatigue. They don't fall off. Tight on the head. I have a big head. They fit perfect.

The app is perfect.

Superhuman sound is perfect if you use it.

You can customize your buttons in the app. Great feature.

Seriously. Don't hesitate at this price. Buy these headphones. Like brand new but at a refurbished price. You won't regret it.

Well, my brother spoke highly of Turtle Beach headsets. I bought a 600 a few years ago and it actually worked well, so my brother bought the 700 Gen 2 for my kids for Christmas. He did the Amazon renewed purchase. These things, however, are fragile. After 9 months, the plastic of the extender arm broke while on my son's head. I know he has a big head, but not THAT big. Turtle Beach support says that they only guarantee refurbs for 90 days, and not the full year. Ridiculous... Rex from TB is pretty hard line and gave me a worthless coupon code to buy a brand new one.... planned obsolescence for the win.

So, then I buy this one (I know, I don't really cut to the chase) to replace the broken one. This is also Amazon renewed, but I suspect it was just a return. It wouldn't turn on. The headset was Dead On Arrival (DOA). I just returned it.

Epilogue: a month after the broken 700, my 600 broke in the same exact spot. It was way past the one-year warranty (or one year expected lifetime).

Our family is done this company that doesn't stand behind their products.

I got it as a gift for my older brother for Christmas. He loves everything about it, but in his own words when he goes to his kitchen in his apartment that's at least 18 to 20 steps away from one wall it will immediately disconnect very easily. So that's the only issue, other wise is good for the price and how it works.

Only just over a year old, never dropped or abused. The muff is only held on by very thin plastic. VERY POOR DESIGN.
