5.0 out of 5 stars Very good Condition
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2024
I chose good quality(with small cosmetic faults) but I didn't see any faults in the phone. It still performs as a great as a brand new phone with great battery life. Works well internationally also. I put sim card from Nepal and it worked equally well as sim from US

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value

Nice phone, no issues whatsoever with it thus far. I now have this for 6 months and the battery lasts for a decent 2 days with moderate use. I play games a-lot on it and when I go to work with it fully charged and play games on my break, also before and after work; the battery is usually about 30-40% drained. I would scroll every now and again on social media as well. Has many helpful features as well and the camera is A1 as usual.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really unlocked for all carriers
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2023
Ordered unlocked Pixel 6a. Received the phone quickly but when I opened it it contained a note from seller saying they are Verizon unlocked (see attached picture). I put my sim card in the first message that pops up on phone says the "bootloader is unlocked" which compromised the integrity of the phone. While the phone works for calling/texting it's truly not unlocked for all carriers. I could not use the Google pay featire because of the bootloader being unlocked and the IMEI will not let me switch carriers. I messaged the seller about this and they said they would process and expedited exchange. I sent the phone back but once they got the phone back the seller messaged me that they don't have any inventory to send me a new phone so they just refunded me. I go into their Amazon posting and it says they have 6 in stock today.....SHADY. Now I'm stuck without a phone longer. While I appreciate the quick refund I would not trust them with future things. Shame on Amazon too for being associated with them as their renewed store. Do not buy from them!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good phone, gets REALLY hot though
Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2023
It's good, it's got lots of great features, the camera is nice, everything looks crisp and clear, but man, once it gets down to like 20% it gets really hot and if you're calling someone just forget about it, it gets way too hot to hold and burns you and shirts itself off which I guess is good? But I wish it didn't even get hot enough to need to in the first place.

Besides the phone itself, it came very fast and clean and stuff! There is unfortunately no SD card slot. Wish I would've known that too.

Everything works perfectly and even came with extra charger which is a plus. Screen came with a protector too. On the back there were some scratches(in picture) but I put a case on it so it didn’t impact anything. Will purchase from this company again! Also fast shipping!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great phone. Great price. Great options!
Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2023
It's a very nice phone. It has a few oddities like fingerprint reader under screen, camera in the screen too. So people can easily see what finger your using and that you have registered. Not great. But not terrible either. Camera has a small black hole in the front screen and I honestly never notice it anymore. Best of all, if you buy a unlocked version (be careful, carrier unlock is NOT the same as bootloader unlocked)... If you want to use a custom rom, you will need BOTH unlocked. Luckily the phones are abundant and they are still cheap. My custom rom gives me TEN YEARS of OS updates, security, features. That alone makes it very desirable. It's light, thin and fast. I like CPU intensive games and it handles them like a champ. Screen is bright, colors are vibrant with lots of options. Sound it really good. The Pixel 6a does NOT have an SD expansion tray. They want you to use their cloud, because of course they do! So get the biggest memory you can. Also the 6a has 99% of the bugs fixed. So allot of older reviews are not accurate anymore. Flagship phone with lots of options to fettle to your liking without having to sell your house to buy one. Recommended 10/10

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Excellent.
Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2024
I generally don't like to buy refurb electronics but decided to get this because it's condition was "Excellent". On inspection, I found 6-7 nicks in the screen bezel and camera band and scuffs on the back cover. Looks like this phone was used without a case. I would rate the cosmetic condition as very good -not excellent. This refurb does come with a usbC-usbA cable, a charger and the SIM tool which is different from a new Pixel 6A which comes with retail box, Quick Start Guide, usbC-usbC cable, Quick switch adapter, SIM tool. The usbC-usbC cable would be useful to transfer data from my old phone to the 6A so it's disappointing that the refurb does not include it. It's nice that the refurb includes a charger but it is only 12 watt. The Pixel 6A needs an 18w charger to charge quickly. Functionally, the phone works fine. It connects to Verizon at 5g. Wi-fi is good. Upgraded to Android 14 without issues. I plan to keep it. Even though I'm not happy with the cosmetics and missing contents, the price still makes it a decent value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great phone with one annoying drawback
Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2024
My Pixel 4a 5g was my favorite phone be until it died a week ago. This phone wasn't much more expensive than buying a replacement for the 4a 5g, and it will receive security updates for a few more years, so I decided to upgrade. The processor is definitely quicker (although the 4a 5g was actually also plenty fast.) Battery life is pretty good, at least as good as what I had. The one very annoying downside is the fingerprint sensor. It only seems to work about 50% of the time. Google 's back mounted sensor was very, very reliable. This under-screen sensor stinks. If I wash my hands, then dry them with a towel, the sensor doesn't work. If my hands are too dry, the sensor doesn't work. If I look at the phone the wrong way while trying to unlock it... you get the idea. I wish Google would just return to the rear mounted sensor that works and stop trying to mirror what everyone else is doing. People buy these for pure android simplicity. Sensors that just work are simply better.
