The TI89 is a beast of a calculator, and can do almost any math you can throw at it. Imaginary numbers in rectangular and polar form? Check. Infinity? Check. Factoring and algebra? You bet. If you are an EE or any other engineering field, you need one of these. Literally the only downside is it's not backlit. TI - if you are listening, make another TI-89 but with a backlit display!!!

Bought it, used it twice before it stopped turning on. I contacted vendor who told me to contact Texas Instrument directly. Texas Instrument will only fix the calculator for a 85usd fee plus 8 dollar shipping. What a scam

It would of been nice to have the instruction manual on how to work calculator! Other than no instruction manual it seems to be a very nice looking calculator. Just got it so haven’t been able to use it yet.

The TI-89 Titanium is an excellent calculator. It's essential for my Calc 3 and Linear Algebra classes. Unfortunately, my TI-89 Titanium was shipped with the wrong USB cable. (Refurbished)

UPDATED: November 1, 2023 - Turns out the USB port inside the calculator seemed to be misaligned with the plastic casing. After manually pushing the port into place, the USB cable connection was successful.

The size of the print is too small for me to work with. I had my eye-glasses adjusted with a new prescription last
