5.0 out of 5 stars Wow.. honestly this little beast is amazing.

The Jackery 500 is a powerful little beast. About the size of a car battery, with a hardened plastic exterior and lots of outlets.

One night recently we were camping and the heat was unbearable. We had two tents about 25 feet apart.

I put a splitter on the Jackery’s 120v power outlet (not recommended) and ran a well insulated extension cord from one tent to the other. I had one fan in my tent and another in my son’s tent. We ran them all night, while simultaneously lighting up my tent with two Jackery lights (using one of the included USB ports) from about 8p to 11p.
I was also charging up two iPhones in my tent using the other two USB ports.

Unbeknownst to me, my son, in the other tent, put on another splitter at the end of the extension cord and not only ran his fan, but also charged his phone and his laptop. He said he was watching Netflix long after the grownups fell asleep. :)

Anyway, the Jackery held its own and stayed on all night and finally ran out of juice around 6am.

The next day I set up the solar panel outside and let the Jackery charge, and by the time we came back from hiking for lunch the battery was at about 50%. I realigned the solar panel and it picked up another 40% by about 5pm which let us use it overnight again, but this time we used a smaller load.

Great product with lots of versatility and power outlet options. Top notch product and incredibly durable. (Note - the solar panel was bought separately.)

Worth noting it comes with a car charger, so you can charge while you are driving, or charge it using a regular 120v plug (cable also included,) or you can buy the solar panel and charge it that way.

For outputs- It has three USB outlets, a 120v grounded outlet plug AND a car-style outlet.

It also has a digital display that tells you how much power you’re using, and how much battery life is left. And when you’re charging it up again, it tells you how much you’ve charged, and displays the wattage coming in from the solar panel or other powering source.

As I said, it’s incredibly versatile, lightweight and gets the job done.

It provides great power and charges super fast! Very lightweight design and the display and simplicity are exactly what I was looking for in a power station. Quality and performance are both 10/10

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth the money ????

Great ???? performance for a small off grid generator and solar panel, takes a few hours to charge with either ac lug or twice as long with 100w solar panel, but I have definitely used it on a daily basis for over a year and still using it as I write this review. Absolutely recommend if you want a cheap source of power to get you by for awhile ????

5.0 out of 5 stars Backup and camping with a CPAP.
Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2024
So far I am extremely impressed with this battery.

I got a 300 to use with my CPAP when camping, but also as a backup for power outages. We live in South Park Colorado at 10,000 feet, so snow can take out power for days. For that reason I also got a 60 W folding solar panel, compatible with the Jackery. I also got a 12 volt adapter for my Resmed Airsense 11.

As a test I ran my CPAP with the humidifier turned off, using the 12 volt adapter, NOT the 110 outlet. After a 10 hour sleep the battery was at 81%. In the morning I plugged it into my 60 W panel and had it back to 100% in a couple hours. In my experience that is impressive. For a few hundred dollars I have a CPAP backup that is light weight and completely off grid. I love it.

I have a Echo flow River 600 which is a very good unit and American company but also pricey battery generator That had an expandable battery option which i got later. I wanted something else a little more portable and just a back up. This Jackery 300 has ran my 12 volt cooler all night and still has 65%. I had bought an Ltake to try out and that until failed terrible! I sent it back and got this referbished Jacket 300 and so glade I did! This is a good solid generator! If you are wanting to invest in a battery Generator stay with the name brands that are popular! Jackery is an American Company and offers a solid product! The only reason I take one star is I do not I now why they did not include some kind of light on this?? Also I would like to see the display light to set to remain on if desired rather they to keep having to push the button to see the staus. Other then that very pleased and impressed with the Jackery 300!! Check out hobo tech for in depth tests and reviews on these type products. Do your research to suit your needs.
This little mighty Jacket 300 Is powering a Marshall Origin 10/25/50 watt amp flawlessly drawing 72 to 100watts from the Jackery with no static like you would find on products with less the desirable invertors. Also running a Roland Cube street ex 12 volt or AC with out any issues. Now I am eye balling the Montech x1000 Again stay with the name brands!

5.0 out of 5 stars Most useful product I've bought

I love camping. That being said if you do too. This is a game changer. I don't typically use my phone or electronics when camping but you soon realize that we use alot more electronics than just out cell phones in the wild. The camera is the #1 thing and #2 is the speakers and if your using a speak your using your phone so all in all this product is very useful. It even came handy during a flood when power was out to power a small fan and keep our phones charged in case of an emergency. Love this product and so does my family and friends.

This last for 2 nights with the small devices I run and charge. My car charges it within a few hours (probably faster if charged directly from a standard 120V outlet). It fit my needs perfectly!
