A well priced, powerful Smart Speaker

Yes as an a old timer audio buff am impressed by this powerful, portable, smart speaker. Love that I can "dial up" any station on the planet that streams their broadcast, unreal. The unit is easy to set up and match to your smartphone. The unit seems well-built and is somewhat water resistant, although I wouldn't bring it into the the shower or pool with you. The bad, its not at the quality level coming from a good system playing CD/LP's or a strong FM station. I think it probably has to do with the inferior MP3 format that most stations are probably streaming with and the younger generation who until recently has grown up with. That said, I find if a useful, portable music device which provides a greater amount of "listening choices" not constrained by the limitation of FM broadcast signals. Nice speaker from a older, established company...

Went with me to Daytona Beach, FL for Spring Break 2024. It can get loud, and sounds pretty good. Has USB-C charging port, USB-A charging output, AUX input (use as a PC speaker even without BT functionality.) Really holds a charge. I've charged it once since I've had it (so over a month.) LED light power level indicators are a nice touch. It can get in the water, just make sure the cover on the back is closed and sealed shut. Does not play well when submerged. It will auto shut-off, but it turns back on when you take it out of the water. Also, get a carrying strap for it for added portability and protection.

Clear depth of sound, has bass, Not "loud"

Long battery life, quick charging, sturdy- heavy, good aesthetics, stand keeps it from rolling, full depth of sound. Can use same charger with a Droid.
Works with roku app connected to my streaming stick so have better sound for movies with my old t.v.
Wanted a speaker with deep bass or loud bass. Try bass drops to test it out and try different phones and music apps from your friends to grasp the full capabilities. I use amazon prime music and my music is equalized so older songs aren't too quiet in comparison to new music.
Rock sounds great, Movies too, has bass but won't blow you away.
If you want a speaker thats "loud" it's gonna be $299 jump. What I mean by loud is I can't simply talk louder over it. Loud means, the neighbors can hear it but not loud enough for a noise complaint.
I got mine for 1/2 the cost on warehouse deals. Speaker is new, box and all components new so I'm happy. Otherwise wouldn't be ok with the full retail price tag. Full sound is not equal to "loud".

Got the speaker and was instantly blown away minor very minor scratches on JBL logo that’s about it it works perfectly sounds perfect and for the price is unbelievable definitely recommend

I just Want to say. This is brand new, I only purchased it for $80, wow!! the only thing I was a little concerned about is I did not get the outlet for the JBL speaker but I did receive the USB-C cord. It also came in its original box.

10 / 10 I will most definitely be buying another one in the future. I am mainly using this for my Sony TV where I can connect via Bluetooth. so I have a wireless home theater Sound system.

Btw I am A real person. I kind of realize that my opener did sound a little bot-ish so I apologize. Haha
