The unit I received was in excellent condition, and appeared to be new old stock with a sticker for a Brazilian distributor affixed to the back, rather than a refurbished unit.
Unit was the SPA525-G2 model, with the Bluetooth functionality as advertised, and had no locking in place.
I was able to get the phone provisioned on the network with a minimum of fuss, and it has worked well ever since.
