5.0 out of 5 stars A need for the DIYer

First I'm not sure why it ask me for battery life, it's corded. First off I bought this for only one purpose. The price was far, so I didn't mind spending money for that need. I am a tool connoisseur. I generally don't like a one size fits all kind of guy. However with the versatility of the different blades and sandpaper attachments it can do quite a few jobs and do them well. I use it far more than I anticipated for other task.

5.0 out of 5 stars After a power drill, this oscillating tool is the next power tool you want in your toolbox!

The refurbished version of Dremel MM-50 oscillating tool is a great bargain. It is cheaper, and looked and worked just like a new one. It came with a soft tool bag for it and a selection of generic tool blades for sawing, sanding and cutting (blades are generic and not Dremel).

The ability to easily change blades without tools is a pleasure. The angled tool allows for reaching more places that otherwise would be unreachable because the tool itself would get in its way. The handle is very comfortable and cushions the vibration as well as can be expected. Lastly the 5 amp power gives it the power to cut through metal almost as easily as wood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super deal...

I studied up on all the oscillating saws in this price range. For the (renewed) price I purcahased the MM50 model it was a great deal. It has more power than most, the quick change head easy to use, and the angled head is very convenient. I have used it about 20 hours on some really tough projects and zero issues. Runs just like new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tool for household use

This multi osc tool is very versatile. I was debating about getting this vs an orbital sander. I am glad I went with this. The main reason is that I don't have a big sanding job, just a few pieces of wood deck board I am repainting. So this tools can do more than just sanding, it can cut or trim wood as well. If you are deciding, I would say go for this instead of a real sander if your job size is not large.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rebuilt unit as good as new unit

Got a good price on a rebuilt tool and if I did not know I would assume it was never used. Good price too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dremel goes BRRRR

Great product that cuts almost anything. The ability to make 'plunge' cuts in tight places has made projects a breeze.

Minor setback from my not reading blades: there are 3 nearly identical blades, of which two are 'bimetal and wood's, and one is just 'wood'. I ground the teeth off the last on a screw before realizing I'd not notice it wasn't bimetal. It's on me, but I still felt like, "But why? Why include one that is like the others but less functional?"

5.0 out of 5 stars It is a great tool

This tool is a 5 amp motor tool. It makes work easy. It allows the user to make what otherwise would be a difficult cut or a cut that ruined the material you might be using it on. I use it frequently.
