Great alternative to the standards

After years of using nothing but Shure mics (nothing against them, really), I decided to try another brand. One quick reason is that I thought it might help to differentiate mics from fellow bandmates. I bought and AKG and this Sennheiser, and I have to say that I DO get a bit more "robustness" and a little more clean headroom volume with this mic than I did with my old 58's. Don't get me wrong, I still use my 58's and 57's if someone else needs a mic here and there, but I like to keep my mic to myself. Even before COVID, I never did like to share a mic with anyone else. Anyway, great mic here Sennheiser!

By far the best mic I've used and I used a lot of shure products and some cheaper stuff as well. The sound is really powerful and crystal clear with seemingly a lot of dynamic range. Its heavy as heck and This thing has already been abused in my possession and I bought it as an open box too. Not a dent or scratch on it.

I have been using these microphones for years I have at least 12 of them they worked flawlessly forever you can use them as hammers if you want they do drive nails

Studio or stage, this mic is great quality with exceptional sound quality. I was looking for an alternative to the Sure SM58 and think I've found it with the E835. Very satisfied all around with look, feel, sound and durabilty.
