2 Years, 8 months update:
I’ve been wearing it nearly every day. Watch still works perfectly, maybe a little less battery, but I still end up with about 10-20% at the end of the day. A lot of scratches from me banging it around, though I’m not particularly careful. Still runs just as fast as it did when I got it, even on the newest update. I don’t see why it couldn’t last me another year, maybe two.
8 month update:
Watch still works the way It did when I bought it. I’m not particularly carful about banging/scratching it and it does have a big scratch mark but That’s of my own doing. Still works great with my 11 pro, battery is still more than gets be through the day. Cellular works great with Verizon, there have been a few times where I’m about to go to work and realize I haven’t charged my phone in days and it’s now at 10% I can confidently go to work while my phone charges at home and even when I have to do a delivery every so often, I can just put the address into my watch and it takes me there no problem.
I’ve learned a lot of things it can do that my old android smart watch (from 2018) Either did a lot worse or just didn’t do. Overall 12/10 would recommend.
6 month update:
After half a year it still works just like new. I’ve used the cellular feature and it’s really cool how someting this small can talk to cell towers and even gps towered way up in the sky. Tha materials still feel the way they did when I got it.
2 week review:
This is my first Apple Watch and it will not be my last. It came in a box nothing fancy like if it were new but it wasn’t just some random box. There are absolutely no scratches on the front sides or back. The battery life is probably just like new I used only 30% in 9 hours while working. The screen is so big and bright and the colors are so vibrant. I haven’t used the cellular yet but I plan to add it with verizon. I love everything about it. I used to have galaxy watch and the band it came with had words sticking out of the bands and it irritated my skin and it was so big and bulky(I got the smaller one too) and the screen was a circle so it was hard to do not watch things.
I am very impressed with this amazon renewed thing. It really came like new and for $100 less than a new one would cost. Aside from the lack of original packaging, and the obviously not Apple power adapter (which I really don’t care about since I have many good power adapters) everything about it is perfect.
I put this on my wrist and It’s so light weight and comfy and I know it’s weird but it’s SOOOO SOFT. Like it’s almost more comfortable to wear than to not wear it. And it’s thin so I’m not always bumping it into things. And the vibration motor on it so amazing. When scrolling through things with the crown it feels so nice. And the back of the watch itself is very smooth, tough, glass and unlike the galaxy watch it feels nice. And everything fits very smoothly and no sharp edges.
I really just can’t believe how much they packed into this little thing. 3D Touch, gps, cellular, Bluetooth, wifi, GPS, THE SCREEN, the amazingly accurate vibration motor, the battery, the motherboard, a mic, a really loud and clear speaker, A really accurate gyro, and even an EKG. And they still managed to make it super thin and super small AND still has battery life the can easily last a day, maybe even 2.

First of all, it was received dirty. I didn’t mind wiping the smudges off the screen, but there was dirt in the slots for the band, in the creases of the bezels where the glass face meets the outer casing, & debris surrounding the side button.
There are so many deep marks around the sides of this watch, it is rough to the touch & catches on the skin of my fingers.
Without knowing previously what a space grey series 4 Apple watch looks like, you’d think the two tone wheel was normal but.. those are scratches causing it to look half dark grey & silver.
The side button is either heavily scratched or just caked with debris that it looks damaged or—both. I was able to dig some of the dust or whatever out, but at that point I was so bummed about the quality, I didn’t want to keep messing with it.
I’ve purchased refurbished & second hand products plenty of times, but if I knew ahead of time I’d be spending $140 on this, I would have passed on the offer.
