    I purchased this scanner after doing research about what I needed. It arrived packaged neatly and with easy instructions. I, however, needed some extra help! Mike was WONDERFUL! He got me up and running even after I started off a little frustrated. I WILL purchase from this company again. His grace and kindness through the install meant everything!

    Generally speaking, I don’t leave such negative reviews. For this junk, I actually waited as I was so infuriated at the predicament I was put in for having bought such a heaping pile of. I was sent by my job to work on a client’s site. At the end of the job, I had about 5,000 pages of documents that had to be scanned and then shipped back to our offices in a different state.

    Fujitsu makes a great scanner; and the 6130 is not an exception; but buyer beware when buying refurbished! There is the risk that what is being purchase might not have been refurbished back to working condition; that “Amazon Renewed” doesn’t actually have merit. This is what happened here. After working for three weeks, 12 to 18 hour days, without a break, the job was done; but then I had to scan the work in. Well, it didn’t work. Sure, it scanned the first hundred or so pages just fine, but then the gears started slipping and grinding. The paper began jamming; some pages were torn, others were scanned as blobs reminiscent of modern art.

    Skip Amazon Renewed – seriously, just skip it. I can’t even begin to explain how enraged I was at the time this failed, at how defeated I felt – for all my effort, with less than a day before my flight, that I had ultimately failed. I ended up having to have everything scanned on a slow copy machine; it was all that was left. Some might say it doesn’t matter, except that it literally took me giving up any sleep and working through the night.

    No, I’m just pissed. Angry I was suckered into this deal by Amazon. Buyer beware. This is not the purchase to make. I’ve lost faith in Amazon “Renewed”. Never again will I make such a mistake.

    These are great machines. They are fast and work with win 10 and pdf. Its important to buy from a seller that has great install support and training like TonerW/ComputerW. Thanks Guys!

    15 years ago, place paper in scanner, press on button, scan would occur and pop up window were to save. Now 15 years later technology went backwards. Turn on, press button, open program, tell lit to scan. Then multiple steps. Why did technology get harder in time?

    I purchased this scanner new and have been trying to get it to work the way that I know it should. I had the same scanner before and it was a dream. The one I received had parts that already needed to be replaced. It will only scan one piece of paper at a time, which defeats the purpose of a batch scanner, and will only let me do five in a row before it tells me that the light over heated. I have had it too long now to return, so I’m extremely frustrated with the amount I paid and the product I received. I called technical support and was told that they could help me briefly but this scanner is on the older side so it will not be supported by technical support for much longer and finding the pieces that I would need would be ultimately pointless.

    One additional thing to consider would be that you would also have to purchase software in addition to the scanner or use a free one that does not allow for all the capabilities that ScanPro used to.
