We (as a non-profit) have had this exact brand printer (USED - direct purchase from the owner!!!) before and we used it for YEARS!! After it finally stopped working, we were looking to buy the same printer as we just loved it!
We finally found it here on Amazon and it was "renewed". We got that - based on the price. Btw, this was $30 more than when we purchased our previous used one, but still cheaper and which we - at the minimum - could afford!
Now, in the BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR FOR US NON-PROFITS, in early DECEMBER, the printer SUDDENLY stopped working and it's been ONLY LESS THAN 3.5 months!!
We seriously cannot believe this!
When we tried to call Canon's technical services given on the order page on Amazon, we immediately got caught in a SPAM phishing call. We immediately hung up and are now concerned about our data safety!
This is totally UNACCEPTABLE and we want our money back! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
