Package came a day earlier then expected. Was dead on arrival, which is to be expected. So far everything seems to be working just fine. Screen is as clear as I remember from my childhood. Sound is good. A few scratches but thats again go be expected, nothing too concerning. Does come with a charger, which was a bit hard to plug in but I had no issue with it. This is a birthday gift for my bf, will update once he has used it.

The AGS-001 that arrived was not only defective, but also NO where close to what somone could call 'refurbished'.. This was obviously not tested either as no damage to shipping packaging. While this model's brightness is the lowest of the lot, this device was flickering and extremely bad and screen is unusable, significantly worse than even the original ags-001. R-trigger was frozen out of the box, battery was original 20yrs old and swollwn (trash). Would be nice if they actually cleaned the boards and replaced batteries when charging the same price here as an ags-101 which is superior. Dust hanging out power button port. Will give them one more shot to get it right

Needed a new GBA sense my old one needs to be refurbished, but came looking like new, feels nice, no scratches, came with a charger that works, but tough to insert the charger but charges perfectly fine its a 10/10 for me

I was nervous about buying refurbished but it was marked Renewed “Excellent”…price reflected it BUT my teen son has been asking for a gameboy advance for a couple of years and I finally justified the expense- that and Pokemon Sapphire cartridge…a single console plus one game…almost $300…..ouch…worth it to see my kiddo overjoyed to receive the gift! Now if I could find a good source for addl games that are reasonably priced.
